Na haven’t seen any wild cats up there

There would be one or three people who might disagree with that name... no such thing as a purebred dingo in those areas anymore 😅

There are proven studies recently that prove there are still pure alpine dingos. These have all the characteristics of dingos

Of no doubt, but I believe the running joke is that they look exactly the same as wild dogs from the same regions. Given the methods by the DNA has been collected over the years and the various programs and studies that have tried to definitively prove or disprove the heredity, I'm going with the "probably some dingoes, but also a whole bunch of wild dogs or hybrids" position😁 @@intothehighcountry

@@williecosgrove there are a few studies that have come back I’ve read the articles. Not sure whos conducting the testing
