The “truth”.. although someone called Imfromthafutur is probably complimented by your guess, is that products follow from previous products, the companies who build them, and the software companies who make them work. The product reps at dj companies tend to go with designs and partners that they already know. The person responsible for this worked on gemini and stanton products. He is cool, clever, and passionate about djing and delivering great products. Like all of us, he has people to answer to and a budget to work within. Now getting back to “look like the future”.. oh if only you could see the images in my mind to really see the future, with many sick features that have been developed over the last 15 years, all on one controller. Lastly, and most importantly,...djing should “SOUND” like the future, and cease to be so concerned with how it superficially looks.

I think the everse is probably the only option Depends on what you're doing I guess ? Like throwing a massive party ? Or just at the beach with some friends. I have 2 Bose S1 pros, I use them for ceremony, and that's it. I use it after as a booth monitor, But it's always peaking out pretty shortly as soon as I turn the sound on It's in no way loud enough or a party

👋hi 👋 It's to use for either outside or inside, either a house party or in a community center. 🤔Just wondering which one would give clear, loud with good bass & of course portable, without having to carry a generator. So, your opinion is to go with the new everse over the soundboks? Or getting the new alpha theta speakers. Which would you recommend? Also, can they be used on any controllers/mixers or is it only dedicated to the omnis duo controller? 🙏Thanks for the reply

@@RC-sm7hi I haven't heard the pioneer dj unfortunately as they just dropped Everse is amazing But ONLY ONLY ONLY for your house or backyard. None of these will work for a community center Anything bigger than 2 living rooms, none of these options will work The everse 12 just dropped But even that won't be amazing

1500? That's basic brother It sounds like a lot of you're not making money But that's less that a 1/4 of a gig for me. Battery powered, all in one unit is always going to cost +1000

So this is comparable to the flex 10? At that price it would be cost less yo buy a flex 4 or another entry level controller and power bank or small generator… $1500??? The feature you taking about don’t cost that much

Hello, ya know, I took a lot of disparaging comments from folks, in the beginning of the controller craze. I demoed all of the tricks that I could do with controllers that couldn't be done on TTs. I modded batteries into everything, put computers inside turntables, and even created the sombrero fader-cap (which i still am proud of) BUT In the end, I realized, accepted, and came to terms with the fact, that folks just want to see a nice size, moving platter. (and that 7" is still too small. that's why the Denon platters are the size they are) There is just something appealing about vinyl spinning in a circle. :) Nonetheless, I will mention that DJ Numark claims to have supported himself for 6 years, traveling around the world, playing to packed houses, with musical toys.
