An excellent presentation, both going deep enough into the different topics, as well as touching the effects of AI on the professional go world: I liked your schema about it. I wonder whether after two years some views have changed or developed further.

Coming from a chess player, engines dont teach how to play they just play the best moves(or close to it), they dont explain that moves or why they were the best, so professionals shouldnt be afraid of engines. The problem that come from engines is the cheating, so servers like kgs and tygen will have some people copying strong engine moves.

+Matuiss2 Most online players are kyu or low level dan players and there are already engines that can beat them if one wants to cheat.

The engines can provide a sequence (or tree) of best moves from both players a number of moves deep. The player can then use that sequence to draw conclusions about the merits of the first move.

Second remark about the question about "diversity": the reason why there are only 10% women in Go is probably the same reason why there are significantly less women interested in maths, engineering, racing, motorbiking, finance, trading etc etc... it's because men and women aren't as interested and competent on average in certain domains because of sexual biological differences. Feminist ideology is a disaster and is hurting people in that sense by creating a false problem and discriminating against competent men.
