problem is with the memory on the back side.

Thanks for your comment 🙏 You're flat out right. The backside memory is an issue. The first editions of these 3090s when they released all had 1GB memory modules that required 12 chips on the front and 12 chips on the back. The backside pads would not benefit from any active watercooling and would rely on thermal pads and the passive cooling of the backplate. Next iterations of this card had 2GB chips so they could fit all 24GBs with the 12 chips on the front. You brought back memories. Thanks again for watching and commenting

Thanks for your comment 🙏 This block I ordered from amazon. It said it was for Gaming/Eagle but my research lead me to believe the Vision would work too and it did. Here is the title- Alphacool Eisblock Aurora GPX-N GPU Water Block with Backplate, RTX 3080/3090 Gaming/Eagle, Plexi - hope that helps

Would that water block fit a gigabyte 3090 Gaming OC I mean it almost looks the same? Let me cuz I want to get one.

From the most recent watercooled soft tubing build on this channel, running a stress test in 3DMark like Time Spy or Port Royal, I'm getting 80C for the GPU memory and GPU core in 70s, maybe 80 max (a bit more than the ambient temp in the low 70s). The fans are running at approx. 1200 rpm. This is with the Heatkiller rads 360-L with 3x Phanteks T30s and 240-S with 2x Noctua A12x25. The temps stay fairly constant even under further load and the fans just pick speed to compensate. Hope that helps and thanks for asking 🙏

IMO you are eluding to temps in Fahrenheit . Is that correct?

@@iam4740 Tests were done hastily and temps were not good. I am still learning. I took apart this rig already and replaced it with the most recent 4090 one on the channel. The constraint is that the rig does go into a cabinet, which impacts temps.
