Alpha Wolf Summons the Pack

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Alpha wolf 1014M of the Wapiti Lake wolf pack calls the pack to him while they are sleeping with a silent howl, and then the entire pack comes running to him. (original audio has been removed because you can't hear the wolf howl, and all you can hear is people talking about what is happening.) This was recorded around the time this pack begins to break up, and is one of the last times the Alpha was seen. (The following is copied and pasted from chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/www.nps.gov/yell/learn/nature... )
"After her death we guessed the leadership would fall to the oldest daughter and only female unrelated to alpha male 1014M; however, the pack seems to be going through a period of instability and may be splitting into two near the end of 2021. Many of the female adults (new alpha 1203F, 1235F, 1265F, the uncollared oldest gray, another uncollared gray, and an uncollared black) found a new alpha male. This group ranges from six to eight wolves. A younger female (1267F) and the pack’s adult males (1014M [last seen in late November], 1234M, 1329M) usually stay with one or two gray adult females and the pack’s eight pups. This group ranges from 10 to 15 wolves as some wolves go back and forth between groups. Both groups use the Wapiti Lake pack’s traditional territory, and because of the daily shifting between groups, we are counting them as one pack for the end of the year."

There are wolves mich bigger than that Unfortunately as every other animal they keep shrinking cuz they dont have enough food to maintain that size Forrests get more empty and empty by the day Thats why so many foxes come to the city instead of wilderness They dont find enough food anymore. The big wolves need a lot of food, the small ones come out with less So if less food is available only the small wolves will "sustain" Its crazy. Peolple think of wolves as small doglike creatures They are not Thats what we have done to them by deforrestation

It's crazy how they're showing love for the alpha but also showing tons of respect through their body language and posture. Tucked tails, lowered heads and pulled back ears showing submission, but also licking him, rubbing against him, and white fang biting him like they would when playing with their own brothers. Wild Canids are fascinating, beautiful, and absolutely terrifying all at the same time.

Over millennia we’ve basically overdone everything to ensure our survival, whilst obliterating other poor beasts into oblivion. There are now 8 billion wretched human mouths to feed and counting. I have two wolves and one wolf hybrid. They are not pets. They are my companions and cohabitants. I rescued the two orphaned brothers when I found them on the edge of my property. I have been in contact with a wolf expert all the lives of my friends. Mighty Rayzar had to have his right front leg amputated to save him. Ravenous Rotter was severely underweight and weak and full of parasites. A lot of love went to save these brothers. The wolf dog hybrid was adopted to help raise the wolves. Today, they are four years of age and the adopted mother is eight years of age. I love and respect all three of them. They are my best firends. No human could ever provide bonds so strong.
