What incredible timing. I was just wondering when there would be a Getting Started video for Alpha Legion and this popped up in my suggested videos list!

The saboteur synergises nicely with dynats rule about the enemy deployment zone. For me in large games its a great take if you can get lucky against a large tank with that its a great turn for you and if you don't bc its a large game your not down that many points and you might be able to kill stuff as long as you keep your opponent occupied with other threats Headhunters work if you give them combi meltas and you chose tank hunter as your mutable tactics, they lost their preferred enemy but they gain it from Alpharius. Its all about synergy with these guys a unit isnt powerful on its own but together we are Alpharius

Etched brass is acid-etched metal with symbols on it. As for the blank video, that's not us, that's the app.

They're pieces of brass, you glue and paint them just like any other piece of the model.

Hey, I know this isn’t the mechanicum video but I gotta ask... Is it ok to run skittarri rangers as Dark mechanicum tech-thralls? Also is it ok to convert Dark angle chapter veterans from 40k into Word Bearers legion veterans? Thanks if you ever answer this and thanks for the cool uploads.

It's a very expensive way to run tech-thralls, but sure. I'd say no and the Dark Angels as Word Bearers.

alpha legion is what i would wanna make for 30k, but i need to figure out how to paint that metallic blue...

Maybe I'm too late, but if you don't have an airbrush you should check out warhammer tv's video on the artificer tint set. Sure it's expensive and not very practical but might be something to consider

It's ok on them, still a decent small-blast up close and packs real punch at range.

I would also add that having the Cbeam on the termies means once they've secured their objective or otherwise find themselves out on a limb, they can get a shot at something at range and continue to pose a threat over a distance. It gets a lot of bad press as a termies weapon but on a couple of occasions I've managed to take out nice armour over distance and people overlook it's danger value.

Close combat unit with long range gun.... Weird? No thats alpha legion deception XD Also a note alpha legion prided its self of being indistinguishable from ranks, make ur captions look like ur troops if u want to play fluffy Secondly take 2 Primarchs XD HYDRA DOMINARTUS

Considering you can run other Legion Specialist units like Sekhmet Terminators, Deathshroud, Palatine Guards legally in a AL Rite of War, I don't see why not.

What is that type of armor on the left called?

My saboteur managed to total 2 javelin speeders when it came in. One was because of auto-pen, and the other was cause it came from the same side as the javs and then combi-melta shot got lucky, was pretty hilarious to watch my opponent player get frustrated at how such a shitty unit managed to do this to his javs that he hasn't even gotten to use properly in the game yet to make its points back lol.

I was wondering if you could use raven guard as a good close combat army? I really want a cc army but im nit really sure about worldeaters and i already have a 40k worldeaters

You *can* do anything but it may not be as effective as other dedicated CC armies.

Pekka Vilmunen that was how I started out building my RG but I realised I was closing off a lot powerful options in bit units and tactics. I'm building my army with the close range fire fight in mind supported by a few long range heavy support options. I buy the extra ccw on units that can have them.

I am thinking for Alpha as allies (allied to Mechanicus) : legion centurion forge lord on jetbike, heavy support 1-3 Arquitor Bombard, troops though?, just a Breacher Squad as the troops choice? Any suggestions? Can an ally take a rite of war, to be able to sneak in a elite squad of anything? Lol.

Wait, if nothing has been FAQed thus far, does this mean I can legally have Gal Vorbak and Custodes Allies in the same army using the Coils of The Hydra RoW? I believe the allied restrictions only applied to other Legions but not the Mechanicum, Imperial army or Agents of the Imperium. Though it would be hilarious to legally have Possessed Chaos Space Marines and Custodes in a Loyalist army.

I’ve seen that they have a black color scheme, I think I’ll test out black with turquoise hight lights that you subjected in the raven guard video on a test model, I’ll see that how that turns out.

there's a 4 step guide floating around which just uses bright metallic base followed by greenshade and gulliman glaze, looks really nice. however there are also beautiful schemes using non-metallic colours. between google images and dakkadakka I've found quite a lot

They're all good in Alphas, they can pretty much make the most of anything.

Does that make the damage chart auto six thing still work on the saboteur; so you can auto blow up Spartans before the game starts

Seen it done a few times but its very hard to pull off, if you can its amazing if not well you better have a backup

No cypher is a title so the person who is cypher changes over the years with at least two named marines taking the title cypher in the lore of the 1st.

Love the legion but in the books they are over shadowed by all other traitor legions. There turning was very very poorly written and doesn't correlate with the setting....believing xenos over there loyalties to the emperor. Hope they make them epic with a continual inter legion civil war continuing until today. This would explain why sometimes they hinder chaos and others aids them.

If you read the later short stories involving the Alpha Legion it is pretty obvious that the Alpha Legion trick the Cabal into believing the Alpha Legion to be an ally while the legion goes off to pursue its own objectives. Omegon is pretty much confirmed to be loyal to the Emperor, while Alpharius' loyalties remain more uncertain and more likely on the side of Chaos.
