The Turkish 16th overall pick from the 2021 NBA draft has put together one of the flashiest and most impressive rookie seasons in recent memory, especially considering the amount of playing time he has gotten. Showing off his extremely diverse skillset for his size, Sengun has shown that he will be in this league for a very long time with the potential to be one of the league's better players.

He’s special, will be a big part of the rockets rebuild
This compilation is made possible at 19 years of age and in the NBA at his rookie season showcasing some magical stuff. I would be very disappointed not to see him grow to an All-Star. Cant wait to him play +30mins next season. And not to mention a very nice compilation, great work!

When his career is over, he is going to have one of the flashiest career compilations of all time. He's already so talented, and so young still, so he has a lot of room to grow and get better still.

He is now one of the best players Turkey produced and he is only 19 years old, maybe at the end of season 20. If he continues to grow as an all-around player like Jokic, he sure can be one of the most elite players in the league. We love you Big guy , now is the time for you to stay on focus on your growth!

I watched every single game that houston played this year, because of Sengun and i can clearly say that the team has a huge potential. They need time and experience, i m sure you will play for conferance semi finals at least in the next 2 or 3 years!

i can't stop watching the play at 1:29, just absolutely insane that he pulled it off if you listen closely you can hear someone laughing hysterically in the background, not sure if fans or his teammates

@@YouScareMe1 Yeah i am, he did not do nothing unfortunately and still fails on the Sixers when it matters, even if we had cp3 and no harden we still would of been a top 8 squad with any all star swapped for Harden.. All those years he failed for a decade was last years rebuild was delayed. Wasted af. id take the Scola and Dragic/Lowry id even take this years team with filled with Rooks over all those 10 years of playoffs let downs multiple all stars with Harden. id think different if he gave it his all u think he really did?, clap clap for the individual regular season records which he ran and took elsewhere, the regular season wins were nice whilst it lasted. We are over him here. Onto new paths even if Jalen or Sengun let me down in 10 years i don't have to sit there watching dudes not try on defense and look completely disengaged from the game whilst he was being put on the same pedestal as Bryant or even Jordan at one time?

As a Rockets fan, I’m truly excited for this young team. Hopefully this year he gets more time on the floor, and with the draft picks in this years draft, I think we should be progressing fast in the right direction.
He has a really unique skillset.. Houston should keep running offense through him

Don't forget this dude is going to get coaching from the one the only Hakeem Olajuwan. Good luck next year.
His post moves strength and finesse , fakes footwork , so good training with Hakeem will make him better. And I feel like his face up game can develop more he has a pretty post fade , and mid range that he dosent use as much, however at the end of the season he started hitting the post fade more and he should use much more. His three pointer is getting better and will become serviceable. He's a sabonis type guy to me.
Him and jabari in the post will be devastating
Alperen is rather slow but his footwork is great and he has sneaky hops and a ton of skill. Crazy ceiling on this guy. I know per36 is a terrible stat but his line would have been 16/9/4/1/1 (rounded down) in his rookie season...he played 20min on average and I have little doubt he'll put up these numbers sooner rather than later. Sky is the limit if he puts in the work.

Not sure why teams disrespect his 3ball. He will hit it when open. If he continues to improve, this could be huge for him in the long run. But even if he doesn’t, I’m really seeing the work he puts in with Hakeem paying off in games.
