Crazy. The weight and tightness will pull the rest of her hair out

Exactly. Her poor head needs a good rest. Proper moisture routine and some loose natural twists would've been better.

@carolyn smith we can say that she will joining the rest of them she following with wearing wigs. It's looks nice but at the cost of llosing your hair
Nothing against your braiding technique because you did a good job. I just wish people would be honest that braids in general are not good for alopecia. Braids put tension on your hair whether they’re loose or tight. It’s literally your hair being pulled (manipulated) into a style. The best way to style hair for people who suffer from alopecia is to (not) style it in braids, ponytails, etc. It needs to be cleaned, moisturized, oiled, brushed, detangled, and left alone. However a person’s hair naturally grows out of their scalp is how it should be (Afros, loose hanging hair). This style is going to put traction alopecia on the other side where the braids were starting from.

I agree I had a customer who always wanted style that pulled and I would tell her oil and brush and lite styling and in no time hair grow so beautiful and thick and she would always thank me because now she can put any style but she's very careful with what she gets 🦾🙏🏽

I couldn't do this. I can see the tension where she starts the braid. That means that with time this woman could loose that hair too.

And the weight of the added hair is not good!!
Why doesn't she invest in one of those braided wigs instead of putting tension on her scalp like that!? It looks like her scalp is crying 😭

A wig and yet her edges already gone not a good idea
It's because of these hairstyles that some women don't have hair. Some of these hair dressers are too heavy handed.

This type of Alopecia is autoimmune. This is from the body mistakenly attacking the hair follicles. This is triggered in many black people after the Hepatitis vaccine but so many just assume the person did it to themselves with wigs etc, nothing gets done about it. When you see balding pass the hairline, it's typical a medical condition. Please educate yourselves.

Facts.
I dont understand if the hair is already strained why add more tension to it. Nice work though. You have a gift

I've damaged my hairline from just wearing wigs. The scalp needs to breath. It needs light and moisture.
She was better off with a lace front and bundles or a wig
Getting braids gave me alopecia ‼️ it is too much stress on the scalp.

No Mam, this is not the same and this type of misinformation is why so many suffer in silence. You can grow your edges back. You damaged your hair. This type of Alopecia is autoimmune... Please go educate yourself.

Plot twist (no pun intended), The best way to grow alopecia is to leave your hair alone, while doing deep conditioning and scale treatments or see a doctor!
Great job sis, ignore the negativity, you have your client what she wanted!!!!💯Assignment understood 💅🏽
Beautiful job , she looks so pleased, she’s about to cry . We are brilliant 😊
I'm curious. How do you assist the client in hair regrowth?
Your an absolute blessing for these ladies, Ty.🙏🏽💚
Beautiful but it's going to be so itchy and it's going to break the hair more
Amazing. I hope your channel blows up. Youre so talented!
The stylist/braider did an awesome job, I'm highly impressed.
Beautiful job!, I just want to hug her , her eyes speaks ,Thank you
You are AMAZING!!!
wow that's amazing this girl kills the rows
❤thank you for the look. But you breaking off due to the braids ❤
I LIVE for the heart spot! 😍 Ty for encouraging her to use her hair till it’s gone! Too pretty
The weight of the extensions added on her own hair will take all her hair out eventually.
GAWDAMN THEM THINGS ARE TOO DAMN TIGHT! NOW THAT RIGHT THERE WILL PULL YOUR HAIR OUT FOR SURE!!!!
Girl that’s too tight! After she take those braids out she’s going to be bald! Please let them know and stop doing it because they said so! Lord fix it
She has got hair, she just needs to rest her hair from plaits, cornrows and weave ons, and the hairline will grow back. My friends stopped plaits, etc. and the hairline grew back.
Wow, you did a good job, and she was most definitely happy that you helped her feel like all black women who wear braids.
Hair line at the side of the head now. So creative.
It’s like they see the problem but just don’t care. You can’t keep wearing these styles and expect healthy hair due to traction tension. I have fine hair and I know I’d be doing myself a disservice if I wore this style. No shade.
Is the hair falling out because of the pulling and the straightening and the color? Why not go natural?
I love what you did she's blessed to have found you after wearing those wigs with hard lace on them that really snatch her edges out.
Now her client asked for these braids if she say no the next one will. She also sewed it in so there wasn't tension N pulling
Wow that is absolutely beautiful God has blessed your hands to help bring beauty and confidence to peoples lives Bless you
You are an artist with hair helping women feel more beautiful because she beautiful before the braids but you made her look out of the world
Your talent is beautiful...your client needs pursue other options

Nice style looks great in her.
Black magic your amazing 👏 ❤
🤯incredible’
You did an amazing job, that's true. I am just wondering why the braids are so long? Weren't you, or your client concerned that the extra weight would cause stress on her already fragile hair? And create even more damage and hair loss?🤷🏽♀️ l am not a cosmetologist, or a professional stylist. I am just asking.
Awesome job on her braids!
Awesome ❤
Amazing absolutely gorgeous
Wow that looks so beautiful amazing job.😊
Nice!!!!!
SKILLS!!!!!
Beautiful talented work , easy on the edges tho. God Blessings Always 🙏
Lovely 🥰
Beautiful, HOWever traction alopecia is REAL and braiding so tightly is the culprit that and braided sew-ins.
FABULOUS FANTASTIC SHE GOT IT KEEP GOING 🔥
Beautiful great job
Amazing! Looks good 😍
The braids caused the hair loss in the first place, called Stress Alopecia (the stress put on the hair for long time wearing of tight, long braids).
I need this❤❤
AMAIZING LOVE IT
Her edges fell out because of the braids pulling on her edges..she has hair all over her head except the edges.. .😔😔
Beautiful work
Impressive
