KZread is entertainment for me. I’m a 66 y/o grandpa. I’ve done most of my long rides alone for similar reasons to you. I think it’s great to see more women riding instead of sitting on the back seat. Keep it up! Bravo to you and Doodle!

This 72 year old male almost always rides alone. I used to ride with my buddies, but they quit riding due to their age (and I'm the senior of the group, ironically). I subscribed (early on) to HTW just to hear a woman's perspective of the experience of riding. I enjoy your channel (and JRs) as they are good entertainment..

I also prefer to ride alone. I do ride with other people occasionally, but my first choice is alone. I like the freedom of stopping when I want, going where I want, and riding as fast or slow as I want. Remember, you never see a motorcycle outside of a psychiatrist office.

You brought back a memory of playing with our neighbors, growing up on a farm. Our nearest neighbor was about 500 yards nearby. We had other neighbors the other way about a couple thougsand yards away. The journey to their houses was as pleasurable as the games we played when we got there. Sweetest memories of my life. No internet, or computers.

The motorcycle community is one of the best communities I've been a part of. It's like a big family. I like group rides, but prefer riding solo or with one or two friends. I've never experience what you describe in group rides... sorry to hear that that was your group ride experience. My husband doesn't ride but he respects me enough to let me do what I like. Especially the fact that it is a guy pronominent activity. I think it is very important in a relationship to have faith in your partner no matter what their activity. We only have one life to live... so live it for you not for someone else. You are very inspiring for women, so keep up the good work! Ride safe!

I love how you just get on your bike and go! I’m just not comfortable riding alone yet. It’s not that I’m scared to ride alone I just enjoy riding with my husband. His work schedule doesn’t always allow us to ride each weekend. I’m so fortunate (and my husband says the same) to have a partner that wants to ride as much as I do. To share the same passion is priceless. It’s our thing and we love it. Who knows, maybe next year I’ll do more solo trips. Keep up the good work, Jess!! 😊

I appreciate your enthusiasm and support of traveling alone but with one caveat. Young, old, female or male….. I would encourage you to practice and promote self awareness and self protection as much as traveling alone. I’m 73, male and have been riding for 60 years. In the ‘60s and early ‘70s it was nothing to ride across country and stop at a park or roadside spot and sleep on a park bench. Today I wouldn’t advise that for a solo traveler. My point is traveling alone is wonderful and I do enjoy myself but please be aware of your surroundings and be prepared to protect yourself in a variety of circumstances. God Bless and Good Riding 👍🍻

Throttle therapy is where it's at. Group rides are for "fun" solo travel is for yourself and your own mental health. There's just something about being alone with your machine and reaching places you've never seen before, completely self suficient, just you the bike and what you can fit on the bike.

As a female, an only child, introvert, loner, childrenfree, ect, ect. I started riding around 17 on my mothers old bike and fell in love with the feel of riding, the freedom, the smells, the wind, the thrill, its just all amazing. Speed up to current day mid 30s, 2 weeks ago, Ive bought my own bike, after taking an 8 year break due to moving across the country, and I cant describe how much I missed that freedom!!! Im still working up my confidence to travel more than 30mins to and from work, my stepdad is already planning our fisrt trip after I get my first maintenance done LOL. Im also working on trying to get my mother back on a bike so we can just go ride together! I cant thank you and some other motorcycle vlogers for lighting that flame thats been so dim for so long, its made me happy again and definitely reduced some stress from everyday life. ❤ Ride on!

I've enjoyed great trips solo more so with my 2 dogs. Still a lot to be said doing all the things you want to do without limitations. The independence of doing things yourself makes you stronger. Would love to check out how you pack Dolly and her bagger capabilities. 😊

I never kept up in group rides. I tried to enjoy the scenery too much. Ride YOUR ride. 😊

Nice scenic route there. Hope you enjoy the trip and all goes well. Riding is a great way to boost your mood and mental state, I do enjoy driving in the car a well, but on the bike it's just better. KZread is kinda like my TV or Netflix.

Your audio is on point ! Also the swinging contest is constant in groups lol. I enjoy either riding with just me myself and I or one other person tops And you’re absolutely right being a PA native and moving to Florida it’s polar opposite’s

I ride alone 95% of the time, but I do enjoy group rides when they happen. I can FLOW in traffic more efficiently riding alone. My definition of flow is safe, time efficient, stress free travel.

Hi Jess, wonderful video. Love to watch and hear your personal thoughts on a few subjects here. Wanted to let you know you inspired me more than once, supporting and motivating me on my way to my (Dutch) motorcycle license. After that, I am planning to travel, probably solo too (or maybe with a group of women), and hopefully - once in a while - with my son too, who is already an avid rider. Love your channel, maybe I'll be a vlogger too one day, who knows. Love from NL ❤‍🔥

I like watching your videos. Thx. I’m a 52 year old woman who is basically learning (rode a few times on brothers little bikes when I was growing up). Love riding off-road with my tw200. Scared to go on highway more than a mile to get to the dirt. Lol. Curious how and when you started. Could you explain that in a video sometime? Thank you.

this is going to sound weird AF but you were riding where i used to work. when i lived in orlando i drove buses for lynx and their route (link) 44 goes up that part of 441. you also drove past the fertilizer plant....

With so many bullet points, I will comment on just one. I don't know why a group riding results in a contest of sorts, but it does happen. I agree with you, would rather tour with a relaxed attitude. Winding it up to max is done on the race track, if you want. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Use the internet and KZread for all of the above. Just love watching you ride Dolly especially since I miss my Beemer. Wear and tare over the years of motorsports, job, etc. have taken their toll. The bars on Dolly are in a perfect location for fab riding experience, not to mention the design and quality. Wondering about any vibration in that boxer?

I don't watch TV. I watch KZread to chill in the evening, catching up on motorbike videos and gaming videos, both table top (as in playing and painting CMON Massive Darkness, Warhammer 40K, OPR, etc), and video games on PC, Playstation and VR.
