ok,im i have taken criminal justice course and my instructor was in the army for 10 years and 20 years as k-9 unit and active duty in south Carolina, when you have a case like self defense,he is the primary aggressor because when she tripped he could ran by her but instead killed her on the spot, think of it like a scale you have the RIGHT to defend your self to get the aggressor off of you but as soon as you go on the offense its no longer self defense, that is my opinion on this from what i learned although this is from south carolina of the USA so there laws are probably different

There's one ending I missed I recorded after the fact that's a variation of the bad ending where if you have too low of stamina you can't move the boxes and die. Text epilogue wise it's exactly the same as the bad ending. There might be a secret secret defend yourself ending based on the Shadows cheevo but that might just be something simple like "Play the entire game avoiding light".

Kinda counter-intuitive that the best ending is the one you get by locking yourself in the same room as the final key... which is the room that you'll be forced to lock if you have no time left. It rewards being slow and punishes the players who went the extra mile.

It is an RPGmaker game, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in the dev’s understanding of their nation’s legal system. It wouldn’t be crazy for an asshole prosecutor to claim that a man could never be so threatened by a woman that he needs to crush her head with a brick, it became assault or attempted murder after she slipped and wasn’t actively attacking him, etc. Sexism goes both ways and hurts everybody

You see, some of the words in this game are in Korean and the girl also speaks in Korean so we know that this is based on Korea, and unfortunately, the legal system in Korea is absolute crap so that it is more on the side of the criminal instead of the victim, which is why criminals tend to get way less years of sentencing and the people who harm the people trying to hurt them as self defense get sentenced for more time than they ever should. This leads to a lot of protests from citizens whenever the court sentences people inadequately, which is quite often. There are so many recent major cases where the court gave awful and illogical sentences :(

Nor should you assume that just because they put someone with a familiar voice on the line, that that person is who you think they are, much less tell them the name you're guessing. Do call the police and see what they can do at the earliest opportunity, but you may be exposing yourself and your family to further danger by just spouting information the caller might not already know on the phone. signed, a guy from a place where scam calls are so common that my phone is disconnected at all times.

Additional support is that there could have been witnesses that heard the door breaking, and the fact that the victim lives there. If you wanna say something in the comments, go ahead. Possible spoilers Honestly, I might be wrong, but I feel like the reason being unable to get the self-defense in the bathroom ending had to do with the circumstances. The girl had slipped and fallen on the floor just before the MC attacked her. The MC could've easily used that chance to take the knife from her or run out the building before she had the chance to get up, let alone strike him. There's some Fridge Logic to the brick. People with older toilets would put a brick in the cistern to make it use less water on a flush. The rest of the item locations were pretty stupid, though, excepting perhaps the album. I felt the exposition and dicking around was way too front-loaded on this. I was getting impatient, especially with the protag's repetitive whining and "you're a bad person!"ing. There should have been some gameplay interspersed with all that before the timer started, I felt - or cut out a lot of the exposition altogether and throw you in on a cold opening, because you find out everything important during the search. I wanted much more detailed preparation. Maybe not full Home Alone, but something to get me more invested than "I got a brick and shut a door". My favourite in the 'preparation horror' genre is definitely the Don't Escape series.

I agree, there was a lot of setup in this one and not so much game. Also, if you searched the toilet at the start you'd think protag would remember the brick there later. This is why other games just let you grab that stuff even if it's not useful yet, or at least mention that it's there.

29:44 Since you asked about it, my guess is that some people put bricks in the tanks of flush toilets to cut down on water use. When toilet flushes, the tank drains. When the tank fills, it fills to a specific water line. By putting a brick in there (or something else that is relatively inexpensive, heavier than water, and takes up a lot of space), the tank has less volume to fill each time since a portion of it is taken up by the brick. Each flush drains less water this way, although you have to be careful since too little water (or a 'big job') will not flush the bowl out completely and you end up having to flush *multiple times,* which is obviously more wasteful than a normal flush. And now you know why there might have been a brick in the toilet. :y

Edited to add: also, with older toilets with a ton of water usage and flow power even with a brick or two in the tank one usually doesn't need to flush more than once unless the toilet is clogged.

Just like in the video. We can't kill mugger. It would be illegal. Even hurting them is already a crime! What can we want from society like this? I know what I want. Yes, it may be foolish to want global peace since it's humans' nature to always try to make the best condition for your own ass. But it can be defeated. You don't believe me? "Yandere IRL", I'm sure people would call a case like this in real life something like that, even though it would be wholly inaccurate. A yandere's goal is to be with the person they love while they're alive and well; the whole 'yanderes kill their loved one' is a widespread falsity. If you think yanderes kill their lover, you're likely thinking of the similar yet vastly different trope, yandegire (yandeguire), or the other trope that is basically the jumping off point of a yandeguire, the 'yangire', who basically will kill or sow chaos as it suits them. (Funnily enough yandeguire is recorded as being a rare trope, when it's actually more common than actual yandere characters.)

Nah, sorry but it's you who is mixing that up. Yandere is motivated by love (and can pretty much kill you if in her twisted mind she feels it's for the sake of love) and Yangire is not (she can kill you for any other reason or no reason at all). Both are characterised by obsession (in Yangire's case it could be for example obsession for revenge) and mental unstability and both can commit multiple reckless crimes because of that (not necessarily murder). But really - motivation is the only difference. Yandere absolutely might want to kill her beloved, she's still a Yandere even if she does so.

you know when they were monologuing on the phone after killing euna, he could of just picked up a cellphone and called the cops and with how long they were going on, waxing poetic. Hell you could call the cops and literally have them meet them there.

Shouldn't take more than 5 seconds to call and say your address to the emergency line operator, and with them knowing your address - even if they don't know any other details - they would at the very least send a patrol unit to check on you.

I know people used to keep a brick in the tank of their toilets to reduce the amount of water used each flush. Not sure if that’s a thing anymore or if it was just older toilets. I never imagined when I woke up this morning that I would spend part of my day defending the plausibility of a brick being found in a toilet.

Probably a reference to the main characters situation. Way too many NTR starts with couple falling in love then growing distant because of work, then the girls gets boned while the guy keeps working late and missing dates.
