All I can think off through this whole song is my best friend. He's been there for me in my lowest moments. For a long time he wanted to pursue a romantic relationship. Though I did not feel that way about him, I considered it, Hoping the feelings would grow. As time moved on they did not grow and so I told him I ultimately would like to stay friends. For the longest time I could not pinpoint why I felt this way. We do fit together, but all his good qualities are what I lack. (Relationship skills. Intense empathy and understanding) And all my bad qualities are what we share in common.(low mood and a proclivity to joke when it should probably be serious) We fit together yes but not quite in the right way.
