    It’s very easy to break our mind, and it’s very hard to mend it back. Please find strength in yourself to step away when you don’t feel it. Remember, you don’t take a jump that feels off. That applies to the whole thing. Let your brain work on some other tasks in your life for a while. Then come back refreshed and even more empowered to beat this challenge. Cheers!

    I think jnic should commentate on future runs because it would allow Wirtual to focus more and have better runs while jnic yaps the shit out of it edit: also, I think Brent's estimate is more realistic, in that it will probably take a month to finish the map. If Writual sets more realistic expectations then it'd be less likely that he burns out.

    If it's going to take several weeks then the amount of consistency you lose from one day pales in comparison to the mental benefit of taking a break. Also I feel like it's too boring to fully focus for more than an hour or so, and falls when you're focusing make you feel worse. Maybe set aside 30 minutes to an hour for full focus each session so it's not as draining.

    Yeah a good break can do wonders and help give a new perspective/fresh mind. And ofc he knows what will work best for him. But he did very good and much better in his evening streams. Maybe it could be better for him shortening the morning stream to 2.5 hours. I think one of the last things he said in this last stream was that he puts a lot of pressure in himself and boy ik that really does build up and get heavy and eventually it starts to just hold you back. Being loose relaxed focusing on the moment each step and rather than the big oic has helped me. I've really enjoyed wirts steams and really his outlook during it too, it's impressive and honestly relates to life as a whole.

    @@albinwikgren6921 I know. I mean that he shouldn't try to reach floor 10 again. A new PB shouldn't be his goal. Instead, practicing the critical sections on lower floors should be his goal. He's rushing, and his consistency isn't improving enough because he's rushing. That's my theory, at least. Or something that might be worth trying, mentally.

  • @DreadKyller

    @DreadKyller

    24 күн бұрын

    @@al-Assas Well it's not really about his consistency either. As you said he's rushing, what he needs to do is slow down a bit on the lower floors, he's shown before that he can be very consistent at them, more practice on the lower floors likely won't help, he's had plenty of practice on the lower floors and can drive very consistently, he just needs to stop rushing because that is breaking his consistency, if he slowed down some and stopped approaching the lower floors like he was trying to get WR time he'd be more consistent even without further practice.

  • @al-Assas

    @al-Assas

    24 күн бұрын

    @@DreadKyller Yes, that's basically what I meant. Setting practice as a goal instead of focusing on reaching the next PB opportunity is a possible mental means for slowing down. Also, doing the familiar parts haphazardly can become a habit. If he looks at it as practice, paying attention to carefully lining up the jumps, rethinking the strat, that may turn into a better habit. But yes, "slowing down" is probably the clearest wording.

    "I would rather have silence then not wirtual...." -> "Then cut off the sound, no need to be hateful..." "Haters always gonna hate" Ahh, here comes the 1% toxic fanatic pattern. Good for generating quick hype with bandwangon effect, but always ruins the long game. History is full of newbie influiencers getting hooked by them then self destruct on live stream. In general, you have this community segmentation: Die-hard fanatics - 1-5% Active supporters - 15-20% Casual fans - 40-50% Swing fans - 15-25% Indifferent members - 15-25% Opponents - 1-5% Ballpark figures, constant flux, you get the idea. For longevity, these segments should always be your prime focus: 1. Active supporters 2. Casual fans 3. Swing fans Avoid giving too much weight to these segments: 1. Fanatics 2. Indifferent members 3. Opponents Of all segments, toxic fanatics are the most dangerous in the long run, because they are not really here for you, they are just using you for their own ego. Their nature: 1. Emotionally unstable. 2. Low self esteem. 3. Constant need for validation. 4. Rely on status and reaction from echo chamber for social and emotional sustenance. 5. Use a fan's identity to mask personal insecurities. 6. Use fandom as a refuge from real-life disappointments. Their motivations: 1. Identity and self expression: Use fandom as a platform for personal expression. 2. Seeking Influence: Desire to shape community dynamics and decisions. 3. Community Status: Striving to elevate their standing within the fan community. 4. Emotional Investment: "Protecting" the integrity and reputation of the fandom in their own narrow and twisted interpretation. Their tactics: 1. Dominating Communication: Hijacking discussions for personal agendas. 2. Gatekeeping: Dictating who's a 'real' fan. 3. Mobilizing Actions: Spearheading self-serving campaigns. 4. Information Control: Spinning facts to fit their narrative. 5. Emotional Appeal: Manipulating emotions for support. They're essentially ego hijackers. Hijacking through dominating conversations, manipulating identities, controlling power dynamics, leveraging emotional influence, and fostering dependency. Their end game is to make both the influencer and the community reliant on their viewpoints and approval. Once you know their game they are easy to spot. Just look for the loudest mouth with the least self-awareness, shouting "Holier-than-thou". They are everywhere, you have people here literally labeling supporters expressing honest and measured opinions as "haters", then ask them to stop the hate. Fun fact: Whoever keep throwing the word hate around is the biggest hater. Their hypocrisy and double standard is clear to any objective observer. It's all part of their game, many don’t even realize they’re doing it. Whatever short-term hype and compliments they generate, come at a high cost due to the chaos they leave behind: 1. Echo chamber effect 2. Polarized fan base 3. New and unnecessary opponents Worst of all, when the most toxic ones are finally called out, they erupt into a dramatic spectacle, deflecting blame onto others before making a exit, dragging everyone down with them. Once they wreck your community, they pat themselves on the back and head to the next victim, and do it all over again. In their pursuit of status and control, they'll endorse everything you do, ironically rendering their opinions irrelevant. Since they'll agree with anything you say or do anyway, it's better to focus on Active supporters, Casual fans, and Swing fans. Your true community is the less vocal, emotionally stable people, some are resourceful and financially stable. You know the ones who seemingly came out of nowhere and say they've been watching you for years, then donate $500 and you never hear from them again. Those are your true fans, Not the toxic fanatics going around dictating what people can or cannot say. None of this is new, this understanding is well-established in politics, public relations and marketing long before 99.9% of the people here were born. Never pay attention to toxic fanatics. Martin Luther King Jr.: "Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." When dealing with human your one true north is human nature, nothing else. These lessons are learned with blood across centries, consider this my donation. Good luck on your quest.

    It’s probably more for wirtual than for “adding to the stream”. It allows him to go full focus mode while not having chat be completely ignored and non interactive, which is something he’s talked about wanting to do for a bit. It’s more like a “hang out with jnic and watch wirtual climb fully focused” rather than trying to add something to the stream or make it better.

    i don't do this to burden your feeling / mental but I think this is one of the worst stream for you and all of us but me as a viewer sees it this way : 1. don't blame heavily on jnic or yourself 2. adding commentator is fine but only for chat (not for you), you hearing commentator such as jnic has always interrupted your focus heavily 3. based from no.2, after your focus getting interrupted by the commentary, you began to fall into the wrong focused mindset and it pressures you heavily 4. based on the previous one, i think you need some entertainment for the lower floors, not from commentary, but mainly from chat because chatting with chat isn't that interruptive than hearing commentary, and chatting cools your stress down

    This is the Coke Zero and Jump the Shark moment of WirtualTV. Wirtual is still young and doesn't understand the basics of brand loyalty, expectation management and human nature. He is still in early twenty party mode, still under the illusion that he can invite any friends to the party and everything will be cool and groovy. Wirtual, about the new format, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, don't apply "update" when it's not needed, same rule applies to "stream format". There is a reason why out of all the Trackmania streams, yours came out on top above the rest, despite you not having the best COTD stats. Frequency and pattern pairing is a law of nature, it applies to everything, sound waves, light waves, magnetic waves, curves, everything. Patterns matter. Your age, look, height, nationality, culture, the words you use, your voice tone, the pace you speak at, the jokes you use, the way you laugh, where you draw the lines on everything, every component of your personality, are patterns. Some patterns boost each other, some cancel each other, it is call an anti-pattern. Every pattern has a maximum number of acceptance in every time and space, the middle of the bell curve is the norm, the edges are cults. Within the human brain stem, there is a reptilian circuit that has a clear mapping of what pattern is good and what isn't, what is compatible, what isn't. Culture, experience, layer on top of it, nature nurture etc, but the brain stem is still the main driver of human behavior, decisions are made in nanoseconds inches above the neck, long before the logical part even receives the first electronic signal. Streaming is show business, the formula has already been solved, look it up. Not everyone is cut out to be a popular presenter, fact of life. If adding another polar opposite abrasive voice patterns with dominating voice volume is popular, Granady's stream would have came out on top. If Jinc's pattern is in the middle of the current bell curve, his channel would have came out on top. Success is a narrow and slippery path, if you're not careful, viewership can also drop all the way to the mud from level 10. Human nature don't change. Golden ratio, tinder stats, how much of internet traffic is porn? Brain stems matter. "People seem to like my sweet ice cream pancakes, let's completely cover it up with thick hot sauce because I know some people like hot sauce" Beginner mistake made by early twenty invincibility shield. Tuned in for some light soothing entertainment, voice that can fall asleep to, got an abrasive voice yapping non stop, dragged the bar forward 2 hours, still yapping, and the loud volume, Jesus Christ. I don't understand why we're decades into streaming and people still don't understand the basics of audio balance. Voice kept poking my ear I couldn't even focus on the driving. This isn't even a driver update, this is more like OS change. Expect large drop of attention span. Speak to your agent before trying something this drastic again.

    What I read: "Hey Wirt I really enjoy your content so I'm gonna write an essay on your decision and insult your best friend for" - checks notes - "having a different voice." Did I get that right? Jesus Christ mate get a grip.
