Why? She has no personality. She has no charisma. She has no charm. Nothing about Gabrielle is captivating. She’s easily the most overrated actress in Hollywood and she’s not even that well known.

That ending scene with a tired old man holding his baby and say "I gotcha, we all gotcha." You just knew everything be all right. Even after all his protesting and being too old for this. Her papa knew just how to sweet talk her down. Everyone else yelled, threatened, screamed. But he took control with just whisper. That's a real family man right there.

That explanation was the first one that ever made sense to me.
