I’m an empath and I can definitely feel how important this song was to you. Both my of daughters and my husband struggle with anxiety/depression and I have to help them thru their low times, so I can understand Nate’s struggles also. Try listening to Just Like You off the Clouds Mixtape-it’s an amazing song that will make you feel like one of us Outcasts! (And it’s an awesome community!!)

As a lot has probably commented that NF comes into your life when you need him. He helps a lot of people because they can relate to his music and it lets you know that you're not alone with your troubles. Take as many breaks as you need to. Don't push yourself to do something that you can't handle mentally. Much love to you from Denmark.

In this song we learn NF personifies his emotions. We met Fear and learned NF sleeps with Regret. These two will be back in future songs.

This whole album is him going through therapy and his journey. We are privaliged to be able to come with him and go through therapy ourselves. Take what you can from these songs and try to leave the heartache behind for some of that sorrow isn't yours to bear. Walk through his valley of death and fear no evil. Take things at your pace. I will patiently wait for the next NF reaction. Take care and God be with you my man.

It is said we all find NF not when we want to but NEED to, there are going to be hard track (don’t do how could you leave us on a bad day) But definitely keep in mind the Journey is very much one of Nate’s path through mental health. He has helped countless of his outcasts not just admit our issues but begin to address them!

As someone who’s experienced abuse and witnessed it, his lyrics of abuse always get to me. I remember when my father stopped the vehicle and took out an iron steering lock. He beat my mother with it. Hearing her yell out in pain still haunts me and makes me angry 20+ years later. I don’t see myself ever letting that go. Whenever I see my father, I see an abuser. I don’t see someone worthy of respect or kindness. When I heard this song for the first time it allowed me to contextualize that feeling and remind me we’re not alone. After hearing all his albums many years ago, it helped me control and understand my emotions better.

LoneRanger, I ask one thing; don't hold anything back. If you're feeling it, feel it. Share if you're brave enough. Which you have been so far. This is an emotional "Journey". Embrace it, and I promise NF fall fans will embrace you. We're here along for this journey. Thanks for sharing it with us, and I HOPE you keep it up. Started with HOPE, just watched Intro, then this, with you. But I've been on my own NF Journey since 2016.

Woohoo, so glad you're going back to the beginning and taking the journey! 🙌 This one is tough (although nowhere near as tough as How Could You Leave Us), but it's essential to understanding Nate. Edit: Please take your time with the journey and take breaks as needed to preserve your mental health. NF is good with the album track order in following heavy tracks with more fun ones, but the journey might not have the same built in breaks. The fans are always happy to suggest lighter material as needed that won't spoil the overall story. ❤️

NF sure has a visceral way with words and is brutally honest regarding his struggles, so I thought you contained yourself exceptionally well. You're right to be mindful listening to his other tracks as it can be counterproductive if you're not in the right headspace. Look after yourself Ben, stay strong and give mama and baba rage an extra big cuddle ❤.

NF will never hurt your mental health. He will make you feel like you’re not alone because you’re not. NF has a beautiful way of bringing up things you’ve buried yourself and in doing so hopefully you are able to heal and move past those road blocks in order make some space for (as you mentioned) hope.

Man, I LOVE seeing people discover NF. When you said you were known to get emotional listening to music, I immediately had to check your NF playlist to see if you’ve reacted to “How Could You Leave Us” yet. His music will hurt, but I swear it is 1000000% worth it. His music changed my life. But, don’t be mislead into thinking all his music is sad, he’s got some heavy bangers. Real, Statement, No Name, THATS A JOKE, TRUST, Warm Up, The Search, etc. and my personal favorite heavy hitter is Careful. As Nate says “Enjoy the trip!”

Hey, Ben! How ya been? I haven't gotten any notifications for your videos recently and I decided to check your channel and what do you know!? KZread unsubscribed me! Not that I can pick a favorite song by NF, bcuz he has so many amazing songs, but this one is definitely up there. It's so emotional and raw. So eloquently written! Takes you on a journey and you get pulled right in. I suffer from severe anxiety and PTSD with all of traumatic loss I've experienced. I lost my sister and brother 7 mths apart at age 32 and 34. My sister passed away from an overdose and my brother committed su1c1de. I'm the one who found him. When I first discovered NF years ago it was shortly after they passed away and it's opened up the floodgates ever since. As you said it just resonates with you. I'm glad that we have this amazing community here, that is loving and caring. I'm so grateful for you.

As fate would have it, I found NF at age 21, when I needed him the most, when I found myself pushing everyone away and allowing the world make me into a bad person. I was physically & sexually abused/tortured as a child, sexually assaulted as a pre-teen, and physically assaulted twice, one of those assaults resulting in a miscarriage caused by the sexual assault. All of this before I was 16. Needless to say I held a lot of hate in my heart, like Nate did, and I couldn’t deal. Like at ALL. I took the NF journey, opened my heart, and let go of the illusion of control. Now I’m 24 and I’m in a place I never believed I’d reach. HOPE was released at the tail end of my healing journey and helped me push through the last of the really bad stuff. That timing was definitely planned by someone 🙏🏻😊 I share all of this knowing that I’m only one of thousands who have been helped by this journey, and also because I can see by your emotion that this journey will be a huge blessing for you as well. Even through the parts that make you sob 😂 especially those parts!! I’m so happy you started it!! I’ve immersed myself in music that makes me feel heavily and think hard. I have a very long list, just let me know if you’re interested and I’m happy to share! I’m new to your channel so I’m not sure what exactly you’re into, but if emotion is important too you as well then you’d probably enjoy them! Love & grace to you!! Can’t wait to see more! 🙏🏻🤍

Great reactions! If you want some more emotional and real music, and want your channel to keep growing, go react to some tom macdonald. HOG will come in flocks! Same as NF its a journey, start in the beginning with: dear rappers, and go in order, or not! they all will blow your mind. subbed for your NF journey, and hopefully tom too!
