She was fronting her own band at 15, her 2nd cd (Puppet Show) at age 18 finished at #7 on the Blues Billboard charts, 3 spots behind Joe Bonamassa & Beth Harts "Black Coffee" cd. She just signed a contract for 3 albums with Ruf Records. Make sure to watch her 2017 vid at the Dallas International Guitar Fest, "I Put a Spell on You" She was 17 I think at the time.

Tonight at Fitzgerald's, it's the Ally Venable Band. Ally has been creating quite a storm here in the Lone Star State. We dropped by to see her and her band, because they have been touted as the next big female-fronted "Blues Band" to break out of Texas. She has been voted the 2014 and 2015 East Texas Female Guitarist of the Year.
