bought from the old, liquidated company, for the purposes of operating the same type of business - it is not only a new company that has come into being but also the start of a new business venture, irrespective of the nature of that business. In the context of Rangers, the Rangers FC plying its trade in the SFL is a new football club and not the same club as that which played in the SPL. To deny otherwise is contrary to insolvency law.

Craig Whyte bought the company when he purchased it, he purchased the company and assets using wavetower. Fergus McCann set up a new company and move Celtics assets to it leave the former company with nothing in it, he then moved it to the new company set up and made it a subsidiary. I never said Celtics old company were liquidated but there is nothing going out or coming out that company.

it was sold as a going concern to a new company from a company that has not been liquidated yet, the assets were sold before liquidation even occured. HMRC knocked back the CVA so the club could continue as a going concern.

I already answered that question, its impossible for a football club to go into administration or liquidation since its not a corporate entity and that's where a holding company comes in, this is what separates a professional football club in the premier league to other clubs that are amateur or junior. Like every other business its the company that pays the wages and handles the contracts, sponsors. Rangers were voted out of the SPL if you remember correctly
