First time seeing this youtuber with all the thousands out there. The dad was trying to be so optimistic despite the differences and small issues. Mom was not even trying to meet half way. Dad got no back up. He got stuck with 3 kids. Major difference between disney and royal caribbean but allure is one of their older ships so not as good as the newer ones but still nice.

I think the problem is that when you do the same thing over and over again then do something different then you get disappointed and focus on the negative instead of the positive because you are expecting the same thing. Yes, cruising Disney is great and is great for families but it's also very expensive compared to your other cruise lines. I can go on 2 different 7-day cruises on a NCL, Royale or Carnival for the price of one Disney Cruise. All cruise lines are different and I tell people anytime you are doing a cruise or a trip do your research and know what you are getting yourself into and of course a ship like the Allure I would never recommend taking a 3-day Cruise on. Hope your island experience is better.

Well when you re used to more expensive Disney you’re gonna be disappointed with a cheaper cruise. I personally love Royal. They aren’t perfect but it’s still a great cruise. It is what YOU make it. Don’t nit pick it to death.

All the extra charges? Well they could just include them and then the cruise would be about as expensive as a Disney cruise.

"There are weird smells everywhere!!" --Shellie Disney truly just out does every competitor!!! That's what keeps us all coming back to Disney and happily handing them all our monies! 😅

We just got back from a 1 week cruise on Wonder of the Seas which is pretty much the same layout as that ship, just newer. I very much enjoyed it compared to Carnival and it was our first RC cruise too. Sorrento's is definitely the bomb when it comes to pizza. That show in the Aquatheater was different than what we had. Our show was called Intense or InTENse as they spelled it and it was amazing. I never tried a Disney cruise yet because of the price though. I'm excited to try Icon or Utopia of the Seas next.

It's an experience and an adventure. I would prefer to do Disney cruise. More fun, organized etc., and you get spoiled and pampered.

I remember in one trip that i was My brother in the car on the Road to a meeting of Dad (in those times before wifi, Skype and cell phones) and always waiting our dad in the arcades but then Dad opens the Window and says "Guess what kids we are not going to the metting" "Where are we going dad?" "Kids did You see that Big boat? We are going that way!!! Yayyyy woooo! Daddy Daddy Daddy!

How can you be so negative about the allure. You set your self up for failure by the lack of preparation you did.

Just get off the ship. This was weird. Like who complains about the ice cream? Its not Disney. You knew that going on. You're lost on the cruise because you didn't look anything up. Sheesh
