So true, I experienced the same thing when I dyed my hair blonde. As soon as I went brunette again, didn't get the same looks or comments. However, I'm cool with it. It's nice to be noticed some times, but the maintenance and damage to my hair is not worth it.

Hey, us guys love simplicity... especially when it comes to beautiful women with great personalities (only one though, not someone with tons of different personalities or anything)..

I've come to the conclusion that blond hair softens the facial features, while dark hair amplifies them. So if you don't have great bone structure, going brunette is probably not the most flattering option.

Yes. She's right. I'm at a 40,000 convention right now and every time a blond walks by or into a room most men turn to look. While I prefer brunettes the blondes do turn heads more frequently.

It might seem simple minded to her, but that's because she's not the brightest crayon in the box to begin with. It's really quite simple, you get more attention as a blonde because you were probably walking into a room full of brunettes. The same effect happens when reversed. Granted men tend to be overall more shallow, it's a human thing to pay attention to what stands out, not just a man thing.
