Was freshman when this song gave me all reasons to cling to God in all times

I don't ever want to lose these songs to the current strumming guitars and banging music I find in churches today. I want THIS kind of Christ-honoring music displayed in song on this video.

I just found out. I'm listening over and over, can't get enough of it! Come Lord Jesus and clean this world of every sin and rebellion against God!

I stumbled upon someone playing this song on a piano recently.I remembered the melody but couldn't remember the words. I asked the guy playing it what it was called because it was a song from my childhood. He started singing the words and it was like punch to the gut;but kind of in a good way,it made me stop and reflect on EVERYTHING (like maybe the last 30 years!) I think it's time to re-think my life

Yan......I have really bad news for you.....you know absolutely nothing about music, whether it be secular or sacred. This solo is done in the meditative style......it is done in the same key as the rest of the selection.....hence it cannot be considered to be "funeral" in tone. You need to learn before you type.

I happened to have HEARD this song on radio many years back; and it was THIS EXACT part of the song that really moved me!! It wrong my heart to the BEAUTY of Jesus the BEAUTIFUL and WONDERFUL Word of Life, and how faintly we have perceived Him! I have listened to it several times thereafter. Well, today I've come searching for THIS VERY RECORDING of thus song! And it still moves me -- even to know that my heart has grown callous and careless despite the beauty of the matchless charms of Jesus. . . I want to hear this part ONLY, over and over . . .
