You have to remember that Alligators have an instinctive need to hunt, so by moving the food around and making them work for it a bit, they are keeping their animals as close to nature as they can.

As someone who is very safety conscious them standing with their backs against the wall letting him get so far out, 3:05 to the point where if he went on the floor he would have them cornered isnt the best thing to teach kids i like letting my boys watch this but pls try to emphasize the safety factor because last thing i need is my boys thinking they can do what your doing and be fine just because you work with them all the time. Please in the future i know its a cliche but kids listen if those that work with dangerous animals say "Dont try this at home I'm a trained professional" it seems like a little thing but as a influencer which is what you are dont forget this when making your content that you are influencing kids of all ages. other wise love your vids Sorry for the rant just wanna make sure what my kids like watching is both educational and a Good Influence.

@@melissac7374 I don’t think thats a professional way to respond to a person who is just trying to teach kids about safety when handling animals. Even if they know how to do their job, not even the person with the most experience is guaranteed to always be perfect

@@melissac7374 you sound like too many people these days that demand 100% safety, without any chance whatsoever of any risk at all in any way. Real life doesn't work that way. Protecting your kids from ALL risk, in ANY AND ALL circumstances, does not prepare them for real life. Teaching them to EVALUATE risk is far more useful to them.

That is your zoo. But you need to put a disclaimer up, I live in Florida and years ago we had a place called frog city. It was a restaurant / air boat rides and anima[ exhibit. One day a guy walked across the foot bridge to the other side of the canal and feed a gator something we said stop but the third time it came up and got a hand. As it came out he saw a gator show were a guy was feeding gators. reverse it and what if you did not do what you do and she did that.
