I love the boat, but you need to add a hydrofoil assist. and a transom helm

Like to see one set up for multi month cruising and live aboard and less fishing. But still some fishing.

Good afternoon! Over the past few years we have been monitoring the boats your company builds! Great work! We wanted to find out if it is possible to order a full project needed to build a boat, or maybe you have some projects ready that you could sell? Thank you, would be great to hear back from you!

Don’t like the trip hazard when boarding the boat Also should have side entry and what size motors

Beautiful boat. I can't recall seeing an aluminum cat down in FL. How hot would the aluminum be in the FL sun and summers? I imagine there would be heat conduction to the water to dissipate the heat, but I have no idea how efficient it would be in reality.

@rbb - Thanks for the comment. It's really not an issue. There a few guides down there (Eli Rico comes to mind) that are running aluminum jet sleds with no issues at all. It's just a matter of time before the aluminum market starts to open in these areas.

The drop down is cool, but in the Northeast it get's COLD!! can you do a real wall and door?

@@leeperrymanjr4055 This is actually my boat. They usually do the “Alaska bulkhead” on their offshore boats. I specifically asked for the dropdown curtain instead of the back wall, door, and windows.

How do the half totes drain when they are full of fish and how are they removed if needed?

  • @wdlfbio

    @wdlfbio

    2 жыл бұрын

Each fish box has a Whale gulper pump for pumping them out. The only reason to remove a tote(s) would be to remove the fuel tank(s). Unscrew the lip around the tote, remove the hose to the whale pump, lift the tote straight up.

I am sure a tuna tower for Westcoast guys is an option for this boat correct ?

  • @wdlfbio

We do a gob of albacore fishing up here. I considered asking them for a “crows nest”. I have no doubt that a tower could be added.

Awesome boat! Needs some net holders welded on somewhere is the only thing I see missing.

Look at the 2:00 mark. Net/gaff holders (1 on each side) are full aft, on the outside of the dive ladder.

Perfect minus the no back wall... really needed an aluminum hard wall with a sliding door for that nice of a setup.

  • @wdlfbio

All their other builds have the full Alaskan cabin (back wall with sliding door). This one was mine, and I specifically wanted the dropdown curtain. If someone wants to break into the boat and steal anything, the typical doors/locks aren’t going to stop them. I love the openness the dropdown curtain offers. Anyone can have their’s built to their desires.👍

@@wdlfbio True, very nice boat. I am from Alaska so more of a heat thing than someone breaking in though, perhaps keeping water out if it gets too crazy. Take care!

This was mine. I specifically wanted the drop down curtain. They are working on #2 for me and it’ll have a drop down curtain too. #2 will also have cabin seats that face forward and rotate aft, so guests can face forward when running and face aft when trolling. All their other builds have the solid rear with sliding door.
