I think buskers can be partly doing it to earn money. Begging is when you just ask for money, not playing or singing anything - so it's not the same. There are some buskers who are very good performers - even some people who play in proper orchestras can do it. It's like a form of street entertainment.

I have been around music all my life, I have to say that Allie is probably the most remarkable talented singer I have ever ever heard in my life. If I had the money I would snap her up in a second, she is just one in a trillion singer with a richness and vocal range that is just hard to find. I am totally blown away by her talent. Thousands can sing and in tune too, but they lack that special creamy voice and that vocal expression in tone, she has that special thing that is hard to pin down. She has a golden rare voice. Good luck to her, she is truly great!

And why do people question or want to make sense of that tiny fraction? Perhaps 0.001% of the viewers! Some would have severe emotional problems. Others might resonate only with 'country', or 'folk', or 'classical' style. Why focus on this teeny, tiny minority -- and worse (with most of the commenters) -- judge them?

I was not aware that she had gone through a bullying incident. I was wondering if there was a story or something someone could be refer me too. The other statement just meant that there are trolls going to make negative or trashy comments and they make a basement career out of it. I see how my post reads wrong. Definitely did not mean that. She's such a bright personality, she'd need to become famous even without her fabulous voice. But if you're a soul and a spirit like her, the voice just learns to show it to the world.

Finally she was given a label.. ..she totally deserve it after continuously busking on the streets .....a big shoutout to Ryan tedder(1republic frontman) for giving her the opportunity..

I would buy a CD by Allie on sight. She does have a distinctive voice. Who would bully a sweetheart like her? The love just erupts out of me for her.

It's not too often you get carried away by a singer and she is one of those singers that you just know she's unique and going to go places - she's special

Allie made me cry twice and only very special people can do that, what a blessing this young lady is,

I don't know how I didn't know about Allie Sherlock before yesterday, truly the stuff of legends. And Mr Dadager, I've seen about 20 busking clips and so far I've been crying to every single one.

Incredibly talented, what an amazing voice. And so poised and comfortable in front of a camera. I think Allie and Grace VanderWaal are part of a tectonic shift in the music business away from gimmicks, stage theatrics, auto tuning, and hype towards pure talent. I’d rather listen to Allie on stage with a guitar and nothing else than any of the current mainstream superstars with 10 dancers, pyrotechnics, and a laser light show. When you have talent like Allie’s that stuff is just a distraction. With a collaborator like Ryan Tedder and a supportive, involved “Dadager”, the sky is the limit for Allie. Congratulations on the record deal, I’ll be buying tickets for your first tour whenever it happens.

Dad said he's yet to see a man cry in the crowd. Well Dad, Allie's made me cry with that AMAZING voice. She's absolutely incredible and I don't say that lightly. I know music and Talent well and That's pure God given Talent (and of course a lot of work on Allie's part). I don't just hear music, I feel it, with my soul and the goosebumps are CRAZY. I just heard her version of Hallelujah and OMG I cried. There's 100 versions of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah and the only one I like is Jeff Buckleys. Now, I LOVE Allie's. Keep her safe Dad, she's precious and will be famous sooner than you can imagine!!!
