Gold and exp doesn't affect fights as much as you think. For example,A magnus with blink dagger and a magnus with ogre club+blink dagger will have the same effect in the fight. Knowing what to do,who to lock down,who to focus makes you win fights even if you are behind.

it's not about big team fights or killing enemy heroes but destroying the base...it's called "Defense of the Ancients" for a reason. BD and split pushes are good strats to destroy the base and any self respecting DotA player should understand and accept that.

If it is the banning phase, you simply don't ban a hero, where as during the picking stage, you get a random hero.

that was a juke, though not a complex one. he ran one direction, shadowbladed and then ran the other way, so the enemies think he continues running the same way. that is the definition of juking....

Navi seem to keep making mistakes where their entire team rushes in to a stupid position and gets wiped by Alliance. This game it was moving to take the bottom tier 2, from which they never recovered. Last game they tried for Roshan when Alliance were right next to them, which nearly lost them the game.

Stopped reading after "Wisp and Prophet aren't strong." They are top tier ban/picks,and are among the strongest heroes in the game.They are picked/banned in almost every professional game.

They played pudge against all top tier teams,what the hell are you talking about? The only team they didn't play pudge against was Alliance,and thats because they couldn't get chen.They rarely play pudge without chen.

I can't agree with "if it's in the game, then it's legit". Things get patched for a reason, but it is true that bd has been in the game since I remember.

They took the one chance they had at winning, and Na'Vi should have reacted faster. They knew how fast a CK and a prophet could break a base, but they decided to race. By the time they decided to react, S4 was there to punish that decision. It's called strategy.

+Joseph Bauyon Its not worth getting oracle just because of that.. its not that op. Oracle is often picked to counter bat, so if you're up against bat and you have alch, sure.. Its just not that great of a combo, its not bad.. but hardly something to first/pick ban in this patch

BD and Split Push are ugly because the game doesn't end with one final battle, but instead the base just crumbles. Its unsatisfying for those of us who aren't playing. I hated watching Tong Fu lose to fountain hooks as well, but at least requires strong timing and execution.

how is backdooring an ugly win? It is an awesome strategy man. This game is all about creativity. There are many strategies that can be used to win and each has a counter to it. If anything, wasn't Fountain hooking more of a cheap strategy than back dooring?

How do you counter fountain hooking? Stun target + fountain hook = 100% dead hero every time. Backdooring can be countered with many hero's, one space cow in particular dominates natures prophet.

You use anything in your disposal to win. I think Na'Vi can understand that more then anyone(fans should too), or did you forget that Tonfu vs Na'Vi game where they had to use fountain hooks in order to win? In the end, it's not all about how you win, it's about winning. That means winning by team fights, back-dooring or any strat available. Any Dota 2 player should understand this, hell any MOBA player should.

Nayt Mare Works. You should try it sometime. Another neat trick is AL on Zeus, your ulti then hits every enemy hero, no matter where they are on the map. I heard it works with Silencer ulti, too.
