seeing this now, after I passed my CDL A 6 months ago, I can agree backing with a sleeper and a 28ft trailer is a PITA but I had much more luck doing the one where you straight back till ~10 ft or so to the spot and cranking it over and coming back out of a jack knife, did it first try too. the school I went to only wanted us to start the turn as soon as you're ready and so often that caused guys to fail. Knowing the entire time that the most common back is a 45 and significantly easier that doing a 90 in any form. Edit: also they made us start ~15ft or so from the far wall and had an invisible wall 5ft from the direction you came from so you couldn't pull out and to the right to fix yourself without getting stopped. which seemed really weird considering its supposed to be a straight through alley and not one that ends in a dead end.

Hello i just love ur videos. Can you please make a video how to dock a truck at docks with less space forward because i always struggle with docks with one side of trailer touching the dock and other side lot of gap.

in the real world jack-knifing is the only option when there's not a wide open space unfortunately
