What is the song from 2:41-2:56? I have been looking for it since I discovered this video a while ago but can't find it. I know there is more of the song because one of the trumpet players in my band used to play it all the time.

Actually, that's "The Great Gate of Kiev" from the same piece. Mussorgsky used the same tune for both the promenades and the finale.

picolo has a half length, so it plays one octave higher actually, it doesn't play higher (because it depends of lips) but it is more accurate in high register
