Class act, that's why it won judges. I do think it could've placed higher

I've been a fan of Alexa for years and I'm happy for her but if we're just talking about which song was the best, hands down this was it! love this song so much I can listen to it again and again.

You people really have to understand that people have different opinions and preferences. Alexa was hands down the only person devouring the stage. She PERFORMED. She gave many people the "I am the main character, I am powerful and I am different and can prove myself" vibe and fucking served. She stood out and was stuck in peoples memories. And thats the point of a song contest. That's been the problem with many songs in eurovision song contest for decades. A nice or sad vibe, fun or sad lyrics are all cool. But they need to stand above everything else, have something special about them, stick in your memory... Arcade from the Netherlands back then for example was a sad song but still memorable asf

America Song Contest - the contest was about song. About singing, not about dancing and fancy stage props. But as you said, people have different opinions and preferences so...

Me being from Europe and watching Americans call Eurovision cheesy all my life, I was quite shocked to find that most songs from ASC are cheesy and mediocre as hell. That being said, this guy knocked it out of the park. I really enjoy this performance. It's everything I thought ASC will be. Too bad it doesn't have as many views. Maybe bad marketing on ASC organization's part?

Is it just me or does this song sound so much better on the live performance than on the album record?

It got to the grand final and won the jury vote. But it was 75% audience vote or something, it came in 5th place overall.

Hands down, best song that came out of the ASC 🙌 I've been a huge Eurovision Song Contest Fan for years and maybe Allen would've been able to win the ESC (maybe not this year, because of Ukraine getting lots of sympathy votes). I'm not sure that Alexa would've come far in the ESC. I don't think it's something the European audience would've liked enough - it's just not special enough, but rather an average song, especially compared to this masterpiece by Allen

Amazing vocals damn (besides some mistakes near the end). Still im not the biggest fan of the song. Imo he didnt deserve to be in the Final. But due his vocals I can see why he went through.

You can tell his voice is tired :/
