Allen's Hummingbird Babies from Hatch to Fledge Time-Lapse

Ойын-сауық

Emerald fed and cared for her second clutch of baby hummingbirds until they successfully fledged. Watch the baby hummingbirds hatch, grow and practice flapping their wings to get ready to fly and leave the nest.
The nest is located in Thousand Oaks, California, where this little hummingbird built her nest on a string of Christmas lights. Watch this little miracle of nature unfold before your eyes!

I remember i discovered this channel 3 years ago and watching the eggs hatch and also trying to think of the best names to put in the comments to get voted on was the coolest thing. And Emerald is still using the same nest! Awesome

I just love the mini practice wingers exercises. So cute and so smart they know exactly what to do! Sure wish the Jays would harvest materials elsewhere, but Im sure that nature has a reason for that. Thank you Carole for sharing this with us ❤️

Sorry, but there is no room overhead to put a proper camera. The nest is only inches from the eave above it. The only way we could see inside the nest was by putting up a cheap mini spy camera that you can't focus. But at least we could clearly see the feeder below! It was clearly a "better than nothing" scenario.

Thank you so much for your videos. God's creation is beautiful. We are living in some wicked times and are talked about in the bible. The most important thing to do during these times is to trust Jesus and Pray. John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but, have eternal life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
