@@ncm2738 Almost everybody carries for a quick second. It’s hard to just keep your hand directly on top of the ball and make a move. You have to put your hand on the side of the ball in order to make a good crossover. Even sometimes when you’re dribbling it’s hard not to just do a quick little flash towards the bottom of the ball but it’s not a big deal.

He is truly a legend of the game of Basketball. The way he does is crossover over ANY defender is just crippling-not even the great Michael Jordan (who, according to A. I. himself, was his hero in the sport) was safe from it. LOL His athleticism was just unmatched for those who were his contemporaries back in his time. It was a joy watching him play everytime. Thank you for this awesome compilation. You captured several of his best crossovers through his years in the league. God bless!

I always thought that no matter who you love in this game, if you like Kobe, or Carter, or Jordan, or LeBron, you always end up wanting to play like Iverson. His game is perfect. Jump shots. Alley oops. Flawless anklebreakers. He even dunks. And it's all clean. Streetball fans claim Hot Sauce changed the game, but you see a lot of Iverson in him. A lot of people seem to like Dwayne Wade nowadays. He's just a bigger, messier and more arrogant version of Iverson...

My fav. player of all time. I can't forget how shocked and electrified when I first saw him play in a game. At that time, I have just started to watch and play basketball ('97), and being a short dude, I didn't really understand what I could do and always envied the tall guys. Seeing someone barely 6'-0" scoring amongst giants like eating fries, and no one can do nothing about it..... man, the feeling was and still is beyond words. He infused confidence in me and inspired me to work hard. For the simple reason, I am a die hard fan of his. I don't care and I admit that he didn't get "the" hardware (though he got many others), he wasn't the best role model off the court, he didn't like practice, he only uses the right hand.... all that stuff... doesn't matter. He is and always will be my fav. player. One other thing, no one can do an "Allen Iverson Crossover". Tones of guys on KZread teaching that but no one come close to the essence of that move. the way he extends his arm to his side, at shoulder height, hesi-steps, shakes shoulder, switches hand, explodes..... are unique and no one can replicate, even if he/she carries the ball. you really gotta have his physical tool in order to do it. NBA didn't realized that, didn't treasure it as they tired to take it away from him, but had him played today, the league would have allowed it, just like how they give Harden another 1 or 2 steps. The only players I have seen that pulled it off were Kobe Bryant, and a guy named Darius Miles, who played for the clippers. and no, Jamal Crawford is not close, the extension of arm is too close to the knee. this move has gone extinct. It's great we still get to see it here, good work!
