Marco's Dad is a legend. You can see the respect Marco has for him as he looks towards him & gently prompts him for his opinion throughout the show. Gaetano is a man of few words, he takes his time to step back, listen to the others & formulate his answer, but his footballing wisdom is on another level. When he speaks everyone listens.

I'm a Romanista but Gaetano needs to be checked out. Holy shit, comparing the squads?? We have maybe three players that could make the Milan squad: Pellegrini, Dybala, Lukaku. Maybe a center back because Milans are in shambles. Winning away was amazing, but the tie is very far from being over. And if we do win, Milan fans should thank us because that should finally get Pioli out.

Ah, that's right, I forgot that world cup winner Paredes was a worse player than Bennacer 🤣 And quite frankly as far as our CB's go any 2 of Mancini,N'Dicka, Smalling, Llorente would all start for Milan right now (in fact Milan tried to sign N'Dicka before he chose us so what does that tell you?). Haha that is very nice. As a Milanista, I am not sure about winning away, if we do, and we do prosper, it should not be an excuse to keep Pioli. The defense greatly misses Kalulù, Gabbia has stepped up, but cannot do it all and we do need a strong defender beaides Tomori.

Nah thats not true, the levels of the rosters are very similar but Milan has Maignan theo and leao as excellences. Smalling/mancini/ndicka are way better then gabbia kjaer thiaw, paredes could be 100% a starter for Milan, celik=calabria and maybe is better too

As a Milanista, I'd say the derby is pretty important. Not as important as going through in the europa league, because there's an actual trophy on the line there, But still, It'd be a nice memory and a good emotional moment to delay Inter's championship and let our home fans leave with a good memory.

I hope as isual that we destroy them regardless whatever it means to the "Indaristi". same thing happened to Zaniolo... he was a very promising young player at Roma. very high expectations. then blew ACL. came back 6 months later only to blow out his other ACL. then down hill ever since. imagine if Peppi Rossi never blew out his knees like 3 1/2 times... he'd still be playing

Problem is Conte is a mercenary. He goes for the money . The second it doesn’t go his way or he achieves a goal he’s out. Doesn’t stay at a club more 2-3 seasons no matter how good things are.

While watching this prior to the Barca v PSG game, I thought that Marco was a little dismissive towards Michael regarding PSG's chances against Barca, especially when there was only one goal in it and away goals do not count. We are talking about two top clubs where with only one goal difference anything can happen. Marco even referred to the Liverpool comeback in the final against Milan from 3-0 down at halftime. He also ignored the psychological aspect, where teams that take a lead into the second leg have two options in order to progress, win or draw, while the team with the deficit have only one goal in mind, to win. As Juve fans we should know this better than anyone as this scenario has played out for us, and against us multiple times in the Champions League.

I don't 100% agree with gaetano about Roma having a better team but I think he's more just reacting to the two milan fans sitting across him. I said before the match they are very even honestly. Milan might have a bit more overall quality, they definitely have more depth. But on a matchup basis the two teams are very even. Roma's form with DDR is an entirely different animal, so my picks if we're only talking about the two teams this calendar year: Svilar and Maignon are relatively even, I think Svilar will edge him out in a year or two with more experience. I'd take roma's centerbacks, celik over calabria, theo over spinazzola, the midfields are even, milan's wingers for sure but there's a big asterisk with that because dybala is an incredible player. striker's relatively even, maybe giroud? they offer different things for their teams. The big difference on paper and what was the difference on thursday is the coaches, you'd have to be crazy to take pioli over ddr. pioli said in a presser there would be no surprises. ddr responds by hitting him with a specialty tactic designed specifically for the match with players playing out of position so that the matchups were more favorable to roma. Last thursday was a tactical win for DDR as much as it was a player's win. I don't know if it will be the same case in the second leg, but in general it's very hard for teams to go to the olimpico and pick up three points.

Milan doesn't have a defensive problem, they have a Pioli problem.

Yes allegri has been a bad manager since he returned to juve but dont blame him for Chiesas downfall thats just ridicoulous. I like chiesa and i thought he was the future of Juve but he has never been and never was a world class player. Even back in fiorentina days and with Sarri and Pirlo etc Chiesa rarely scored more than 15 goals per season. Second the issue with Chiesa is that he has very low technical abilities, he has no natural flair that we have seen with players like dybala and del piero and now yildiz. Chiesa is a player that relied heavily on his physical abilities and grinta, he has almost no actual dribbling skills and would just beat defenders on pace just that. Hes a player that would remind me alot of Gareth Bale and naturally both players lost their physical abilities with injuries and sadly for Chiesa it happened at a much younger age. Honestly i would have prefered selling Chiesa and staying with Dybala because Dybala has other skills that you dont loose regardless of injuries like vision and actual dribbling and just class which chiesa never had apart that this season dybala has been much better.

I like the old format better. Having all the shirts in the background and a nice table to sit across is a better atmosphere. The table hides alot of the contemptuous body language and provides a respectable space between the egos in the room.
