Sunshine: Teleports Allegra: I CAN SEE YOU! Like, holy shit, such a good moment. This whole fight was sick, felt like something out of Arrow but with powers, a lot of kinetic motions, striking, etc.

She doesn’t love being in pain lol. She does use love as a fuel source but also she used the confidence and courage that was building up and realized she can be powerful if she just lets herself. She’s scared of being similar to Ultraviolet, she realized in this moment that she’s not evil and takes control of her power and owns that she can take on a lot on her own.

She can literally shoot lazer beams yet she kept punching them instead of incapacitating them

Exactly, she’s severely underrated. Allegra and Cecile can be so powerful but they get nerfed because it’s not their show. Even though they deserved to be shown off and progressed, they didn’t get as much as Cisco or Frost but I’m glad they got a few moments to shine and show what they can do. All they need is opportunities to show what they are truly capable of.

I really wonder if the budgets got slashed in the latter seasons. I felt it in (I think) season 5, but I attributed that to them siphoning the VFX budgets of all of the shows to pay for the effects in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. But even after that, the VFX in latter seasons were not as good as they were in season 1.

When episodes are orientated around alegra they're very corny, it ends up being the most cliche results, like that one where she killed ultraviolet, she got told she's strong so she somehow unlocked her full power and then this, alegra admits she's got her team mate killed bcos she can't lead but chuck saying she is a leader then saves them all, it's too predictable

Is no one getting Allegra a decent suit? She was obviously needing one for these missions a season ago.

You never know when the writers will use Allegra. It does not happen often but when it does it pretty much guarantees a stronger episode. It would not bother me if they did a spin off with her own show, she could pull it off. The problem is the CW with new ownership for Warner Brothers (Discovery) does not like to lose money and is shutting down everything the WB does that loses money. Clint Eastwood. CNN+. Many CW shows. This probably got one more year to close things up as it is the longest running CW show on the network. It may not even get 20 episodes, and Jessie L. Martin already has said no to another season. So it will be very interesting to see what we get next season.

She better earn the moniker, Wavelenght
