Inec can't do that because that even up to 1/3 of the results are correct if summed up due to forgery. That is why they could not upload real time to allow for cheating and manipulation. Eg is all they did in Nassarawa.

This matter is as clear as day, people are just allowing emotions cloud their judgement.

I have to commend the diligence the JAMB spokesman put into responding to the issue. This case has also played out to highlight the dangers of a single story as first watching the girl's video and the proclivity to demonizing Nigerian agencies (I'm not saying JAMB is flawless) resulted in hasty conclusions. I also think scholarship awarding bodies should ensure they verify results that are the basis of their awards. Due diligence is the key word here as if done well and if those that err on the part of the law brought to accountability, it will be a deterrent to potential perpetrators either on the path of JAMB or the public.

When I saw the result she was posting I laughed. I could remember one time a guy saved his brother phone number as 55019 for this brother to send result of score 320 when his actual score was 180. They deceived their father, but their father was smart he called 55019 somebody picked the call and it was his son. Children of this generation 😅 This happened in 2021 It so painful she will be caught

Yeah. The spokesman really did a good job. It's obvious JAMB is on top of this matter. This is what we all expected of INEC. If INEC is convinced they did the right thing, why can't they come out like this and explain to Nigerians the "Technical glitch". It's not that difficult.

This is sad. The girl and her family need to stop. It doesn't make her look good at all. This spokesman is very convincing with evidence.

Our value system has totally broken down. Whose interest and integrity matter the most here. Who stand to benefit the most from this issue. Its a shame we are now debating a forged result in public spaces and ridiculing the organisation responsible for issuing the result. It's all down to our collective broken value system and the primordial temptation to trust an individual than the institutions due years of entrenched systemic corruption and institutional failures and gross inefficiencies that have pervaded our polity in every ramifications and sector which unfortunately each segment of our society wants to equally exploit to their personal advantage for inordinate aggradizements by hook or crook. For me no institution must trusted until full investigation, in country where lecturers deliberately fail students for selfish reasons. Where the educational system can not be trusted to be umpire Someone somewhere within the system is faulty. If they come out to apologize it was a mistake no issue but I personally will not believe them until a thoroughly investigation is submitted by an unbiased party.

The spokesman was right. I run a business centre and candidates comes to print their centre slip and result. That slip was last used 2021. Since 2022 you can either check your result through sms or pay 1,500 to print the original result, not the one she parading.

Journalists/presenters should be asking follow-up questions, and not only their prepared questions. Here, they kept interrupting him that he had to tell them to give him space to talk. You invited him to clear the air on something that could destabilize the country but keep interjecting.

That question of JAMB giving a certificate or plaque is not relevant. What if other candidate forge the certificate or plaque like the result slip? The best thing is what the man has said. Whoever is interested in honouring the candidate should confirm from JAMB. Even if JAMB issues a certificate, there would still be a need to confirm bcos of forgery.

The girl done mess up cause DSS are now investigating. I suspect as Dr Fabian opined that the girl who always got top in her class got what is a rather good result of 249 but desired to present herself in a better light for such gain as the scholarship etc, she may also have handlers who are responsible for her actions. Her confidence may be borne of the false narrative that "Nigerian national MDAs are fundamentally unorganized and unprofessional" some years ago JAMB would not have defended itself in such a manner but since professor Oloyede became chairman the corruption in JAMB has been majorly addressed including the first time JAMB declared generated revenue in over 30years and refunded to the FG. The girl is a minor so I hope the agencies handle her with care and caution while they deal appropriately with her handlers who are responsible for this shameful conduct.

The exams are now CBT. There is no physical script to examine. Moreover I believe there is sufficient evidence to show that the result paraded by her was not printed from the Jamb portal.

The only way we can verify what happened is for her to re-attempt same questions under a serene environment and the answer script be marked by an independent body in the presence of her family lawyer. If she can't score close to what she is parading, then she is a fraud. Otherwise JAMB will have a lot of explanations to make. Manipulation of systems or softwares can be done by anybody, JAMB inclusive. We should know better than to believe anybody in this present day Nigeria.

If INEC portal could have glitches... which one is JAMB portal?

1. Scoring 249 shows that the girl is intelligent. 2. Naively on wittingly sending back the score as SMS shows me that she wasn't sure of the result she was given or she wanted the JAMB system to accept her 362 score. 3. Whereas the error may have come from her, JAMB is not exempted from investigation. They may want to cover up a lapse with this 'nice talks'. 4. By and large, the truth will never decay even if you bury it.

Yes, there could be a "system glitch" from JAMB that initially gave her a wrong but good result. It is possible that this had now been corrected but the girl refuse to let go of the initial result since it is excellent. And keep checking and rechecking her result.

It seems you didn’t watch the video. JAMB said they no longer use that format for their results. The girl or her reps deliberately forged the result, there was glitch or they didn’t take advantage of any lapses. As far as I’m concerned, JAMB systems performed perfectly.

The jamb representative is right. The first thing I noticed in her video was that someone was telling her what to say. If she's found guilty she has to explain to the authority.

Nigerians are too emotional. I've watched this video finish and I've read a lot of the comments. The girl did not present any facts to support her claim, she only just appealed to our emotions. Jamb has presented a lot of factual accusations: 1. Jamb stopped issuing Notification of Result slips which Mmesoma paraded after the 2021 UTME. Jamb now issues UTME RESULT Slips complete with the photograph of each candidate. 2. Jamb sourced for her original result in which she scored 249. She inflated her UTME result from 249 to 362. She's clearly intelligent just not 362 intelligent 🧠. 3. The QR code encapsulates the UTME result of each candidate, hence, what is on the result sheet is just an interpretation of the information on the QR code. If the QR code was a glitch, the content of the result would have been what is in the QR code because that's what the system reads and uses to form the result. 4. She has motive: The forged result wouldn't have gotten her into university because her school would've verified it directly through Jamb. But the result could be used to win the N3m scholarship fund. The 3 million naira is a good enough motive. 5. Why are Nigerians still supporting her even with all this 🧾 proof (Sunk Cost Fallacy): There is a popular quote that says it's easier to fool someone than to convince them they have been fooled. A lot of Nigerians have spent time and energy to post the girl on their status, commend her on her efforts and so on. So a lot of people are resistant to the idea that it was all a fraud and they've been fooled. Now for the girl to proof her innocence (which I doubt), she should present the remitta receipt of the transaction she made when printing her result, we can use the reference ID to see when she printed the result and whose result she printed, jamb can source through the transaction to see what was on the result whether there was a glitch or not.

The spokesman was right. I run a business centre and candidates comes to print their centre slip and result. That slip type was last used in 2021. Since 2022 you can either check your result through sms or pay 1,500 to print the original result, not the one she showing the public. You can ask any candidate wrote JAMB last year and they will let you that slip does not exist last year.

*The people that enroll JAMB for this girl are the ones that manipulated the results for her. Anambra state and Imo state have been known to be forging WAEC and Jamb scores since several decades ago. I remember back then, some decades ago, when an Anambra student scored second highest in JAMB and happened to be admitted to same faculty as myself. We became friends because I thought I have met a genius. But the guy was rusticated for poor academic performance in Year 3. He was raking in F grades until university said we have had enough, goodbye JAMB guru. These people have people that help them manipulate and forge results. The bar code was lifted from a 2021 profile of another candidate and her name was added. JAMB is also to blame for the way they handled this issue. They should have invited the girl and conduct secret investigation with DSS to arrest the criminal who produced the forged result for the girl*

Anambra and Imo are indeed known for special centers. I do believe the state governors use it as a political tool because they are usually found during campaign of their educational "success" in terms of WAEC and JAMB rather than enrollment and matriculation. You may find in the end a principal or government adviser/ commissioner is involved in this corruption of a minor because that is what this is the girl is being corrupted for gain

Same way Chinedu that was Igbo and thought he was smart too forged a JAMB result a few years ago. He even sued JAMB for 2 billion Naira damages only to be exposed in court. His lawyer had to apologize to JAMB when they realized it was indeed forged. He later admitted it was his dad that forced him to fake it because he wanted him to study medicine but he didn’t meet the requirement so he had to forge it.

If she forged this result, then she is learning from Nigerian adults who have done worse and yet everyone is praising them to high heaven's. Let us prosecute and imprison all these adults first before we chase children who err.

No it is because people are ridiculing the institution and politicizing the issue on tribal sentiments. The institution has to defend itself with facts and not emotions

There should be a digital forensic means of authenticating from download records whether the candidate downloaded that old result format from JAMB portal or not. We cannot base these things on verbal testimonies alone. Every document placed on a digital platform is placed there by human beings and human being are capable of errors and mistakes. Garbage in- garbage out. If an ICT official of JAMB had mistakingly placed that fake result on the portal for the candidate to download are we actually expecting JAMB to come out and own up?

One of the solutions to this is to see the back server of the JAMB result. JAMB can as well have mutilated her server to project right their claims.

Did the also alter the server to print a result format they stopped using in 2021 just for her. This can be verified from other candidates easily. Take out emotions and be objective.

If Jamb was prejudiced, they wouldn’t have made the same person from Anambra the 1st position so what’s their motive for calling out this girl if she were to be innocent?
