If it is good for you, it will happen. If it is not good for you, it won't happen, and for good reason. It's a Sunnah, not a Farz. So do your diligent work but don't feel guilty if you don't marry. Allah has a better reason and ending up in a poor marriage is REALLY bad for your health!

You still have to work hard to find someone you like and get to know that person which is important maybe you can win that person heart. And if he doesn’t want you to marry you the truth is he has his own personal desires what he seeks. It’s life. Men needs to understand in a real world there is no such thing where you like a woman and you say I wanna marry her doesn’t work that way in real life, you have to win that person heart and be there for them and physically and emotionally and excised with them if you seek future spouse she if there is a magic in her heart he or she.

I know a couple, married for over 7 years. They Had Drama. Drama Drama Drama. After 5 years or so. The Drama was gone. They found their Peace inside each other. They are Happy now. No Drama, Just the usual Argument from time to time. If you are in a Marriage and have No Peace, incha Allah you can find it by working in yourselves, helping each other in the way to Peace. And ask Allah for guidance and Help. Subhanala Mashallah, He will Help, keeping shaytans influence from your homes.

My parents ask me why I’m not married at 26. I told them based on the example I was shown growing up, I don’t want to have an argument everyday after coming home from work. They never asked me again.

Sounds funny but.. can understand your feeling for having such "chaotic" parents.. sorry for you.. but for me.. if we hate their styles of parenting and we find that they have faults.. i think you should just build up your own family and create a good attitude of parenting.. learn from their mistakes and try to build a peaceful family.. surely you can insya-Allah..

Alhamdulillah... what you said is true. We can't say whether a person is good if he does hajj yearly once. My parents married me to a man who does 5 times namaz, had done hajj gives zakaat. But they didn't know what person he really was. I never saw a person like him in my life. After marriage my life turned to hell... All types of torture he has done to me not a single day went by happily. He and his mom. I dont know what they gain by beating torturing people. I am having a boy, he is a year old now. But you will be surprised to know even after one year he didn't come to see his own son once😑.... I am staying in my parents house. He doesn't even talk to me. I dont know what to do. Please pray for me. May Allah swt give peace in all relationships. Ameen..

It is so true, my parents have this kind of life, my father did never give any respect to my mother in their whole marriage life, never give any value as a wife and cheated on her with money, he sweared her so many times when he got angry I've witness it,i don't want to mention. My mother help him in everytime he face the danger, she's kind, a loving woman. I learned that he doesn't love her or ever though he doesn't he never respect her, his behave towards her is unacceptable. According to this video I think the purpose of marriage was never in their life. I am a college student, and i want give my mother happiness in her old age and take care of her. I want to go Hajj with her, please pray for me and my mother. May Allah bless us all and forgive our sins.

I'm trying to change my situation, luck, and everything which hurt me most but can not do. Sometimes I think Allah forgot me. I do not stop trying until it changes. I believe one day Allah will give me amazing life instead of miserable life.

The Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said: "A woman is married for her deen, her wealth or her beauty. You must go for the one with deen, may your hands be in the dust! (if you fail to heed)" (Muslim) As seen here and in other ahadith The Holy Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) places piety above all else - you cannot find peace in someone before marriage and if one believes they have, oftentimes it may simply be the nafs taking over - same may be said for ones character Excellent akhlaq and conduct is a part of piety - of course, it would be superficial to think that a woman wearing the hijab/man who frequents the masjid would be pieous, but it would be more likely than not Have tawakkul in Allah SWT and supplicate that He guides a person of piety and akhlaq to you - if He trials you with a challenge continue to seek guidance, supplicate and go about the appropriate measures Allah knows best
