Allah Provides a Way Out (Towards) Every Difficulty - KH Jamaluddin AHmad // Al Hikam. The Al-Hikam Book is a monumental work of the third murshid of the As-Syadziliyyah order, so that it becomes the main source for understanding the teachings of the As-Syadziliyyah order and includes scientific disciplines in understanding the study of Sufism, so that this book is the best and most comprehensive work written by Ibn 'Athaillaah As-Sakandari .
This book was written by the author sparingly because it does not include references in the form of supporting verses from the Koran, Alhadith and various other arguments. More than that, this book seems to have been written as a reflection on the author's spiritual experience. However, its presentation is a distinct advantage for Al-Hikam, because on the one hand, the richness (depth) of meaning it contains has been maintained for hundreds of years, only then can it be explored with a number of commentary works (syarh) that try to elaborate on the richness of its meaning. Al-Hikam is a book intended for travelers (sâlik), which contains further guidance for every traveler to take a spiritual journey. AlHikam contains a variety of strict suluk terminology, which refers to various terms in the Qur'an. This book is a collection of brilliant pearls to increase spiritual awareness, not only for salik and Sufism students, but also for those who are interested in mental exercise in general. The book al-Hikam is also seen as a heavyweight book, not only because of its high literary sentence structure. , but also the depth of knowledge conveyed through his short sentences. It is a book whose language is extraordinarily beautiful. Words and meanings support each other to produce thrilling expressions. This book is a practical guide for a Muslim in the midst of busyness and strong waves of materialism.
