Shaddad bin Aus narrates: The Prophet ﷺ, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu, a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu, abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya, wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi faghfirli, fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta O Allah, You are my Lord; There is no Diety except You. You created me and I am Your servant. And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability. I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You. (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Salam Alaikoum brother/ sister read Surah Duha en understand why this Dua came to our Beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) it was send in a time of distress. Read the meaning and keep making duas also read Surah Yusus as you hear now in the audio why this is such an important dua when in distress. May Allah SWT make it easy for you 🤲🏽 Allahouma Ameen

Depression means you need deep rest. There is nothing wrong with that. I get that way too. I live in constant fear and abuse. What do we do now? Show grace to yourself. We are only human. We can only handle so much. Also, force yourself to pray-it will help you feel light. I never feel like praying, I force it and I feel better each time. Each time, it gets 1% easier although I want to sleep forever lol. I am very aware of how my actions affect the Ummah so I try to pray on time bc I care for you and don’t want it to affect you wrongly. I say “astaghfirullah” a lot and ensure I wake up for Fajr on time. Day time gives so much hope (even though it is gloomy here). Stay close to Allah and identify what is keeping you low. Also, try to rephrase the words. So not “I am depressed” rather “my situation is depressing” and I will find a way. As long as we are alive, there is ALWAYS a solution. You are loved more than you will ever know or understand.
