That was one ridiculous winter followed by way too much rain and snow melt all at once. Still remember watching someone’s house floating down river that week.

Wow your poor house! Did the ice jam end up smashing into the poles or anything? And why was the water draining towards the end?

Ist floor flooded- very fortunate the house didn't collapse. Interesting video, reminds me of my time in West Virginia, beautiful place.

I've heard of grape jam, strawberry jam , blue berry jam, apprcot jam, looks like someone over did it on the ice jam, I mean how many quart jars is that going to take. I hope everyone is OK scary stuff

Maybe sink some vertical railroad track pickets very deep concrete footings to fend off future trouble.
