i mean just look at the amount of koji kondo melodies in this video. None of them go beyond the basic C major/A minor notes. If he was able to compose so many iconic tunes like that, why shouldn’t you be able to come up with a good original melody with all natural tones?

In past games the instruments actually played the town tune when you pressed A on them. Now they just play random individual notes, but they match to the music when you have a K.K. song playing in the same room.

YESSSSS I LOVE WIND WAKER ( dont tell my sister she will yell at me)

Its so crazy! just hearing this little parts let my brain automatically play the howl song. with shieks harp joining in.

Lost woods 1 sounds better including the last note, not leaving it blank. I’m surprised they didn’t upgrade the tune maker at all. Still no accidentals and they didn’t extend how far out the notes go.

Back in New Leaf I had the Deku Palace theme from MM as my town tune and made my friend the beginning of the Shop Theme from OoT and they both still sound great in New Horizons imo! If anyone is interested in trying them out: Deku Palace: e - B C B - A - G A G f e - e - Shop theme: G - G - d f G - Z d - c b - g - Z are pauses and - are holding the previous note, obviously. Let me know if anyone is gonna use them, that'd be so awesome.

Came here for the Song of Storms. That and the Gerudo fortress song are my favorite

For the song of double time you could extend each notes, then redo the melody but non-extended right after.

I am a big fan of the legend of zelda.this is very cool

I currently use the Song of Healing for my town song but squeezed it all into the limited space provided.

Thanks I just shoved Song of Storms part 1 and 2 together. Sense Part one has the second line completly blank and part 2 just has -- -- on the bottom line so I put part one in line one and part 2 minus the -- -- in the bottom.

you can combine part 1 and 2 of the song of storms and get rid of the last carrier note. sounds a bit more rushed but still good 👍 thats what ive used for my town tune

Sarias theme sounds actualy pretty good

For the clock town theme, change all the rest notes into the note extender and it will sound much better.
