It is so sad that the MV doesn’t have captions because I feel like the lyrics are the best part of Toy. They are basically saying that their life is devoted to this girl and she can use them however she wants and then just throw them away. All that they want is to see her heart filled with them alone, even if it is only short term (which could easily be linked to both current and former fans)

Not enough people appreciate just how very good (no pun intended) Block B really are. Between the group, the sub-unit Bastarz and their solos, they have some of the best music in Kpop.

I was hoping you'd look for a translation of the lyrics when I voted for this video.... The lyrics are pretty much self-explanatory, and the mv definitely reflects the lyric's emotions. It's about a person who feels like they're being used by their significant other's instantaneous pleasure, but they've kind of given up about it (at least on the surface) and tell them to just use me as a toy then. But the lyrics also portray little feelings of wishing some kind of reaction, some kind of affection that is headed back towards them. "If love is a joke, then ruthlessly use me" (it's my translation, so it may not be the best)

I had hoped you would read the lyrics for this one, because they cut deep. YASSSSS one of my fave songs ever!!! BLOCK B just hits different you know? But yeah the song is about a broken relationship where the girl is basically using the guy and being indifferent with him. But he’s so used to it and doesn’t mind being her TOY as long as he can make her happy in a way, even though he wants more than that. Your interpretation of the song also makes A LOT OF SENSE too and I think Zico wrote this song to have a double meaning to it. BLOCK B did have a lot of antis/trolls and went through A LOT since their debut days. So it can very well be about idols and how the fans and even the media/record company can treat them as TOYS. Love them or hate them, they are there for people’s entertainment even though IDOLS ARE HUMAN BEINGS TOO. Aw man Ben, Zico has a song called “ANTI”... I suggest you react to that MV and read the lyrics to it. Now that’s a song specifically for all the ANTIS/HATERS. Such a great song and MV tbh!!

This song hits, I take it as how fans are really hyped when a group starts their journey. But after time the fans start acting like they own the artist. Like their favorite toy but then they won't allow the artist to have their own life. Fans demand obedience and devotion but take it for granted, then throw them away when a new group shows up. Example of this is Chan's of EXO marriage and child announcement. Fans demanded him to be kicked out because of him having his own life.

The way I interpreted it was just a relationship where the girl is either "playing" with the guy's feelings or being hot or cold all of the time (switching between love and affection and indifference and ignorance), again playing with his feelings. In the lyrics, he actually encourages the girl to play with him, as long as he can please her and get attention from her. But I think your interpretation makes a lot of sense too.

remember in one live (i think it's music bank), zico started off too early and everyone was trying to hold on their laughter when toy supposed to be a sad song xD
