Don’t kill the cockroaches. The villagers will leave immediately. As long as you don’t need to care about your score, you can have a pet that actually moves.

Oh gosh I hate flower overpopulation, villager visits, breaking tools, picking up the wrong item, disappearing balloon presents, and the mail from villagers and the Happy Home Academy. Also that part where you walked into the campsite tent and saw Cesar actually made me laugh out loud.😆

I still remember removing so many flowers that were overrunning my island… and then Isabelle didn’t like that I removed the flowers, so she reduced my island’s star rank from 4 to 2. I’m still mad about that. 💢

A method to get things without chasing: do the slow drifting motion over the target, then dive and spam. You can catch the hardest things much easier this way. If you do the regular speed over the target it will speed up to avoid you. Sneaking very slowly by just pushing the left joy stick in the direction you need works.

Going from swimming in New Leaf where you actually go fast as hell to New Horizons where my character can't swim worth a damn was extremely frusturating💀 At least the diving spots don't go past the barriers around the island, but still...

So real tho Ooo yea Animal Crossing is so fun and relaxing! *spends hours on completing quests to get nook miles for tickets* *picks up an item* “My pockets are full” T^T

This was only missing a couple things: 1)covering the money hole by accident instead of burying more money 2) Favorite villager asks to leave and you say yes. 3) Hated villager has a thought bubble but they just want you to buy something from them.

This is exactly why Animal Crossing was great during covid, and why we all stopped playing it.

You forgot the one where my friend got a new Switch, and accidentally deleted her 600+ hour island during transfer because the island transfer is a SEPARATE thing for SOME reason!?!?!?!? She quit animal crossing after that.....

What always bugs me is when the villagers decide to talk to you, either by visiting your house or by walking towards you, and ask you to give them a certain item you need. Sure, you can say “no,” but I swear those villagers are trying to rob me! (Edit: I never played the original GameCube version of Animal Crossing, so I had no idea that this was much worse back then!)

Similar to me: when I got new items from shop/balloon, when someone running to me I just dropped those item and they’ll be forgotten what they trying to says ” I knew it! You gonna try trading your junks with my precious item , or asking bought it from me with only 1/4 price,huh?”

What about when youre waterscaping, trying to do a nice curve but instead keep building some land 😭

- When your favorite villager wear your chosen costume only once and displayed in their house forever, untouched… - Also same villager contagious unfitting catchphrase from others behind your back. - Villagers try asking you delivery gift to another villager , 90% is inappropriate costumes. - Also said latter villager wear those unfitting costumes do Naruto-run roaming on your island proudly.

The part where you accidentally erased the custom rock flooring was too relatable. I DESPISE the fact that that’s even possible. It’s my biggest pet peeve with custom designs.

Building / destroying walls, digging / filling up stretches of water where you don't intent to bc there's no indicator showing which tile is about to be terraformed 🤦🏼‍♀️ Cyrus' model resetting to facing south after customizing, so if you talk to him with a slight degree left or right, you have to wait for him to turn back to you. When you want to give your villagers their daily gift, but they're sitting and doing smth against it requires very specific circumstances. I could add a TON more, but they're all related to my Joy Cons drifting

Another pain:this pain is probably not on new horizons player/post wild world player but when you try to get a new fossil, you keep getting "seismo hip" and not other fossils

When you wanna go on a villager hunt and no one wants to move out: 😅 When you can go on a villager hunt, but you realize you only have 4,000 something Nook Miles: 🥲 When you’re hunting for a villager, have this one dreamie you want, and it gives you every other animal in the book: 😩 When you want a CUTE villager that matches your theme but get Raymond as an auto fill: 🤨 When you still want a good villager, AC gives you every bad villager that it can, you test your luck on an auto fill, then get Kabuki who is not kidcore at all-ok AC why are you still doing this to me 😡😡😡

I played Animal Crossing Wild World back in 2005 when I was young. I think one of the things I find annoying is when you are going around your town doing things, every 5 or 10 minutes a villager would come running towards you to get your attention. Thankfully they toned that down over the years. I just want to fish, catch bugs, and run around my town in peace for a while.

Why must I suffer through all this pain again?

Dude If you think fakes in New Horssions are painful at least it is possible to tell if they are fake before you buy, in City Folk there is no way to tell if the painting is fake or not till you get it to Bladers.
