Acutually PHP is quite slower than node. Cause php is synchronous & node is async. And also there are lots of thing just search for that in youtube

17:17 that is such a stupid notion mate. you are clearly coping. you are really saying a backend developer does not need to know DSA ? optimizing from O(N) to O(log(n), do you realize how much bandwith that will save you per HTTP connection ? when the same thing replicates on a huge scale like the examples you have of Facebook, Instagram it translates to savings of millions of dollars for the organization... cope with your lack of DSA skills

He didn't say it's completely useless. It was for the beginners who just started and want to work in a small company with small projects. It can be learned side by side to be a good backend guy. He cleared it at the end of this topic. Your example is legit but a beginner won't gonna work at Facebook, Instagram level company with that level of complex architectures. A beginner who doesn't even know how to build a CRUD won't even realize the importance of using Binary Search over Linear Search or O(log(n) over O(N). But he will eventually get it after understanding the entire ecosystem.
