🔔 All You Can Hear Goldstar, LG and Sigma Elevator Chimes, Bells and Door Beeps! 🔔 SIGMA/LG산전엘리베이터차임
The sixth video of this series covers Sigma Elevator Company, formerly and better known as LG Elevator, LG-Otis Elevator (in South Korea only), or Goldstar Elevator. Ownership of Sigma Elevator now comes under Otis Elevator Company (and is in partnership with the reincarnated Express Lifts - how strange!), but there is enough variety over the years to create a compilation in its own right.
This video has the sounds ordered in the following:
1. Two tone classic chime - Used in Goldstar HDB installations.
2. Three tone signature chime - Used across Goldstar, LG and then Sigma installations, and a very distinctive tone.
3. Two tone synthetic chime - Used in the transition era from LG to Sigma.
4. Two tone modern chime - Sounds similar to the two-tone chime used by Mitsubishi elevators and Otis elevators.
5. Two tone new chime - Found in the latest batch of Sigma HDB installations and home elevator installations.
6. Button sounds.
7. Voiceover announcements.
8. Signature door opening/closing buzzer. Goldstar and LG were well known for their "alarm clock" sounding buzzer.

Travis. A Korean brand one. For example this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mmp8xrRmYbXOirA.htmlfeature=shared Very similar to LG as it's also uses korean fixture and in Korea itself

I didn't know why Korean OTIS sometimes use Windows sounds as their chime, even Changwon-made ones! For example in the MiniTouch fixtures, when someone type their destination floor on the keypad and if call accepted, it will play "chimes.wav" sound located in C:\Windows\Media directory, mainly in XP systems.

nice chimes...while the sigma at my house had its voiceover died. lift a had its worn off as some idiots played with it and now my haus has no elevator with voiceover

The chimes are often seen in elevators for small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea.
@ 1:13 I think that's an alert sound from Windows 98. I'm sure it is.

That's correct! A "Utopia Asterisk" sound effect was used in somewhere else. It's kinda vintage.
