All-You-Can-Eat Seafood? It’s All Fake & Toxic: Dyed Sea Cucumbers, Fake Shrimp, and Imitation Crab

In a recent social media post, a netizen from Jilin province revealed the unsettling truth about some popular Chinese dishes, particularly spicy hotpot. The video showed fake ingredients like imitation shrimp, pork ears, fake eggs, fake duck intestines, and even a fake quail egg.

Unfortunately, the FDA only inspects 1-2% of imported food, excluding meat -- that falls to the USDA. But I just read an article way back in 2012 titled "USDA Quietly Eliminated 60 Percent of Foreign Meat Inspections". Buy local!

I am connected to seafood industry, there are some facts you need to know, When shrimps are harvested from farm, they are soaked in Sodium metabisulphite, to prevent oxidation process, this oxidation process affects the quality with shell & even meat turning black due to bacterial growth, so when the shrimps arrive at processing unit, they should be washed few times to remove Sodium metabisulphite. Whole shrimps usually do not have much additives, but value added shrimps are treated with additives, these additives are approved by national FDA. So when the shrimps are to be exported they are treated with approved additives (approved in EU & USA) these treated shrimps have higher duty in as there is value addition. The additives are for weight gain & to improve texture etc, almost all processed shrimps (ready to eat) are treated. Also there is Glaze. Glaze is layer of ice usually protective, but this is now a commercial idea, so if you buy 1kg shrimps with say 20% glaze, if you defrost the shrimps (put in plastic bag, seal the bag, and then keep the sealed bag in running water for say 90 minutes) then after defrosting, take the shrimps and keep in normal pan, you will notice that you have actually 800 gms of shrimps, rest was just water (glaze) NOTE, USFDA approves treated shrimps, rather all shrimps PUD, PD etc are treated,

Actually Chinese exports quality is better than what they are selling domestically, they want to build reputations, it's a common knowledge within China, unlike Korea and Japan who saves the best quality products (Cars, Phones) for their own people, Chinese ships the best products for profits and dump trash to their own, since most of the Chinese don't have a choice anyway.

It’s called supply and demand. China’s population is large to keep up with the demand of food is extreme. So this is what they are doing to keep with that. It has nothing to do with the love of money or God. They are just cheating to make food faster and last longer.

Eggs farmed in machines, either with their DNA altered prior to embryonic development or RNA spliced and sold as kits for auto-flowering cells, being spread around in communist and socialist territories within south east Asia, take caution and beware, much better to find a local Quest/Lab Corp facility and petition it as a community to analyse the chemical composition of imported food sources, in terms of the compounds that naturally are present to compare against other potentially spliced or altered amino chains or mirrored proteins that are basically clones, that is basically the majority pf all high protein foods in japan that doesn’t contain any other fats or carbs, gotta wach out to figure out how to exist. Hell just live as a carnivore, exist within the hunting gathering bartering society to ensure the safety of the supply chain from the purity of the water that is used for the soil, to the nutrients that are mixed into the fertiliser( free from green paste that may contain tapeworm/ leech eggs that poison ☠️ the soil slowly over time ) farm yourself at the beginning automate the cadence or buy necessary equipment to finish up, process in silence sell in bulk cheap roobes prices till it’s in the supply chain. Cyrovac the end result according to the proper agreed on medical procedures in the factbook. Good Luck, just with the bolts, not all are golden, need to watch out for torque and how the steel copes with the effects of the drag from air and the upward force that holds it in place to ensure the “ certified calibration structure is indeed intact, extant and due proper process has been taken “

I am a commercial dungeness crab fisherman. I have NEVER seen anything come out of a crab that looks like those "crab sticks" like real crabs don't have that much meat in one leg. Even an alaskan king crab i don't think you would be pulling big chunks like that out of every one. Like anyone who has ever opened up a crab before should be able to tell that theres something wrong lmao. Not a single dead crab gets sold by me, not a single undersize or messed up crab. When you have good products, and people try it, they will be return customers. Even the texture and rubberyness of those crab "sticks" just looks so wrong. It shouldn't be floppy like that and hold its shape rather well. Things like this is (and living in a majority chinese city) convinced me to never eat seafood at a restaurant except: 1 restaurant right on the water that i have known the owner for long time and know who he buys from, and every so often i will eat a dynamite roll from a specific sushi place. Seafood is one of those things you don't want messed with

Glaze is layer of ice usually protective, but this is now a commercial idea, so if you buy 1kg shrimps with say 20% glaze, if you defrost the shrimps (put in plastic bag, seal the bag, and then keep the sealed bag in running water for say 90 minutes) then after defrosting, take the shrimps and keep in normal pan, you will notice that you have actually 800 gms of shrimps, rest was just water (glaze)
