The one thing Rockstar has never figured out is for offroad vehicles, the Suspension Upgrade System needs to lift the vehicles not lower them.

When rockstar adds a vehicle It is more likely to survive being submerged above the bonnet if the exhaust is up high instead of a snorkel being up high

I thought it was the exhaust height that determined if the car dies in water. There's a couple low cars with the big goofy stick up exhausts - with shapes to them (love heart / star), as long as they stay above the water level the car drives fully submerged.

The exhaust works as the "snorkel". The snorkel attachments are cosmetic only.

The Nightmare Sasquatch with the Mohawk exhaust can go in really deep water. The best I’ve found personally. The only thing is if you go in rapids (I assume because the water splashes inside the exhaust) it kills the vehicle but I think that happens with all of the vehicles that can go in deep water.

That's because in gta it's based on the exhaust in water. If the tailpipe gets submerged, the vehicle dies.

The Wastelander doesn't have a snorkel, but behaves as if it does! Its amazing in water and has to be completely submerged to drown.

The only issue with the APC was when the real life version would leak and drown its occupants.

The Guardian and both Phantoms ... are lacking snorkels .. they have pipe exhausts .. no snorkels

if the exhuast gets submerged the vehicle will stall, this is why some vehicles with snorkels dont work, because the only thing that matters is the exhuast height.

It's the exhaust. When it submerges the car dies.

Its the high exhausts. Snorkels do nothing. It has to be a exhaust stack
