i think that it doesnt do well when the damage unluckily goes to a small scaler BUT as the rounds go on more and more enemies will have threatening amounts of health and thus is very good

He didn't say the puffin is a c- he said in that run the puffin was a c- because it kept hitting non consequential units, so all the investment in strawberries and units to make it do "20 uncontested damage" ended up constantly blowing away units with like 4 hp that would have traded the same way regardless.

That might work. Because after you get a good permanent food, it could over right it with a worst permanent food. So it's half balanced already. It would be really dependent on what foods are available in the pack though.

I feel like subway is weirdly reluctant to include or even mention jalapeños ever. They’re one of the best toppings there, but I feel they’re scared of mixing up people who think ketchup is hot sauce

He won’t put a mild pepper and a jalepeno, but he will put a cucumber and a pickle inside. Truly build diff

My subway sandwich will always be toasted. I only get their flatbread and toasted it always ends up still soft on the inside but with a pleasant light crunch along the edges.

Does anyone else feel like they are regressing the game with all the balance changes they keep doing? Like the Koala only works once per turn, so if you do damage during your shop phase, and a unit takes damage during the fight then it won't buff it.

It’s called a beta for a reason. Koala was oppressive. Now it’s underpowered. They’ll find a happy medium eventually.

Imo they shoulda let the koala give multiple buffs, cause it requires you to take a cucumber to avoid a plain ass +1 attack buff, but also lets you scale quickly if you have that leech+yak, at worst it buffs like a monkey at tier 2 (2-3 buff), plus a health buff for the leech which is almost negligible

In my opinion, the only way to keep the game fresh is through the weekly pack and the constant removal and addition of different pet combos. You can't have an OP build if nobody can play the pack long enough to learn the OP builds.

@@pagatryx5451 that is the worst possible take I have ever seen. You sound like a Riot Games dev. Making an ever changing, ever adapting meta makes the game completely unfun for casuals, and it becomes a sweat fest like you hear NL complain about on the test server, since everyone who plays there is usually a SAP veteran, rather than your local Suzie who works at Walmart that would be playing the game on her short breaks. Then at that point the only people having ANY fun would be the people who religiously study every patch, balance change, etc.

Anyone skeptical of cucumber on a sandwich needs to try a Mumbai/Bombay sandwich

A lvl 1 hummingbird at round 9 isn't quite enough

Whichever unit you get on level up at lv 3 is pretty much always gonna be the strongest in your team by virtue of its stats and the fact that lv 3 abilities are better than lv 1 abilities, then because you get to invest early that unit is also likely to level up

I think that the leech is good with units like the kiwi because the main use of a kiwi is the sell trigger for the buff to strawberry friends so sap its health for a turn and sell the kiwi next turn it just adds one health to your leech and takes one from the kiwi you sell

Isn't a leech possibly good because you can take health off of a non permanent pets like a kiwi or a pet who's stats are not the main reason to have them, and centralise your stats into one friend to carry the team, and obv that's just lvl 1. Lvl 2 does in fact increase the total stat

I hate to tell you this, but I have been playing against "the normies" on the regular version and there aren't any. 7 players out of 10 are sporting gold poop as their hats running summon builds that you never see that many of any of the animals they have. I have had some insane teams not make 10 because they hit three 50/50s with melon armor or builds that spit out 7 busses at 18-18.
