All Water Slides at Golfland Sunsplash Mesa, Arizona [4K POV]
Ойын-сауық
Take a ride on all the water slides at Golfland Sunsplash Water Park in Mesa, Arizona, United States. Just like its sister park in Roseville CA, Golfland Sunsplash Mesa is home to an enormous amount of water slides - this includes three bowl slides, two trapdoor water slides, a water coaster and much more. Our favorites were the Dragon Tail body slides which are much more intense than they look. We are still not big fans of Golfland's Night Splash ticket policy - if you want to stay in the park after 5pm on a day when Sunsplash is open late, you have to purchase another ticket - there is not even an option to purchase a combo ticket.

Golfland water parks might not be the most visually appealing water parks, however they defiantly have very strong slide lineups.
Caldron is probably the most insane space bowl slide I’ve ever been on

Deathly underrated park! Would recommend going!
I Love your channel
Another great video ☺️
A Piece of Information: This is the Very Same Waterpark Shown in the Movie Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure when Napoleon Goes to Waterloo Waterpark and Bill and Ted Eventually Meet Up with Him There to Take Him with Them. It's During the Second Half of the Film. It's Kind of Cool to Know that Keanu Reeves was There in the Late 1980s Filming a Scene in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure! Party On, Dude!
Met these guys there they are awesome
Storm rider is so fun!
Super 👍
I used to be there at Sunsplash 😊
I would really love to know the history of those three Dragon Tail slides (Mystic Maze, Dragon Slayer and Troll Tunnel). My local Golfland (Emerald Hills in San Jose) has IDENTICAL slides and they been there for as long as I can remember. But the weird part is that Emerald Hills Golfland isn’t even a waterpark. It just has waterslides within the mini golf courses. I have a hunch that those slides are extremely old, possibly from the late 70s.

Interesting, I did not know there were more Golfland locations with water slides other than Mesa and Roseville. Probably the owners got a discount by the supplier for buying more than one set of those slides. This is common practice as it reduces engineering costs

@@tuberides.official That makes sense! But yeah, Emerald Hills has waterslides too. I've always been extremely curious about those waterslides. They're very old and pretty insane. I love how the right slide goes underground.

@@tuberides.official I emailed the park (Mesa Golfland) and this is the information they gave me: "Dragon Tail slides were opened in 1983 and the property opened in 1982 for Golf only. They were manufactured by us and built by us. Renovations are constantly happening with slide additions including a new slide we will be starting construction on in November and is set to open summer 2025." So the slides were built by the park in the early 80s, and I can only assume my local Golfland's slides opened in the same year. But Emerald Hills Golfland never expanded into a full waterpark (probably due to lack of space) while Mesa Golfland did! I think it's so cool that both sets of slides opened BEFORE Golfland started their foray into waterparks!

@@jayminyoel7911 Ah yes, the place I tripped and fell at in like 2006, cutting open my chin. Good times! 🤣
If you're a waterpark fan and you're in Phoenix, both this and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor are must visit locations. But I am guessing you liked Hurricane Harbor more because you don't have to buy a separate ticket to stay passed five o'clock at that park?

@tuberides what would you rate Cauldron in terms of Space Bowl slides?

It's a decent slide with a fast initial drop. However, you don't spin as much as you would expect. 7/10.
