Jesterfrog made the first versions, and Wechidna was changed to Chaotix because Wech looked like a Faker 2.0 After the EXE mod cancellation, Wechidna was sort of "cancelled" but Chaotix was brought back to Illegal Instruction. Later they would announce that Wechidna would be brought back to Illegal Instruction 2.0, and to a new mod called Horizon's Edge. Many versions of each song were made because of vocals sounding bad or the most common, a composer being problematic. A meme version of Chaotix was made called Chotix (Long Sky and Meltdown versions), and then they tried making songs of Wechidna VS Chaotix for their similarities. So they had Wechidna, Chaotix and Chotix to make songs of. Still don't understand why they forced them to stay alive, they are cool concepts but they have +3 HOURS OF VERSIONS OF THE SAME SONG. Hope this explained at least a bit of the "My Horizon" drama.

To put it briefly: there were two characters associated with My Horizon, one that got leaked and a second that was actually going to be in the full Vs Sonic.exe, and due to that there was a lot of confusion and a lot of variants of the song made for both characters. Then, after that, the composer of the original song left the team and the internet at large due to being outed as...an active "child liker", let's say. And the second character was the poster child of one of that composer's friends, so that character got tangled into all that too. Meanwhile, the first character is just considered a knockoff of Faker/EXE, even by his creator.
