Yup now its the perfect time since the 3ds online is dead, there is a decent chance we can get 4u and 3u on pc and other consoles but i don't know about GU since that game is already on switch

Limited range and speed when underwater though. Harpoon type ammo would be more effective if used underwater

Probably will never happen but I would love for MH Wilds to have cross play between consoles and PC.

They recently discontinued the online services from MH3U and MH4U. I really hope those titles will get reworked as they are some of the best.

For monsters in an open world setting, I suspect it'll be like expeditions to areas where over time monsters native to that area will cycle in and out.

I really want lagiacrus to come back!

Actually I may just do this in dragons dogma 2, wear low level gear and just trade lol. Or not use weapons, maybe play trickster with warfarer so I can dress normal or tradery.

I mean wilds looks good, but can’t see my palico yet

Wilds is going to be incredible, I just hope Capcom doesn't come down hard on the modding for it

Considering DMC5, Dragon’s Dogma 2, both MHR and MHW have flourishing modding communities, I think it’s safe to say that they’d be pretty lax about it

All I'm going to say is monster hunter stories as legends like game

MHS is like Pokemon Ranger. Everyone who played it loved it, but there will be no more than 3 Games of em. We will be lucky if we get a MHS 3

I wish they put back the swimming mechanic of the game. The platforms we are all playing on now has advanced enough to do what it did in 3DS.

Monster hunter stories is a very good time, I just love learning more and befriending the monsters since there the reasons why we are hunters!

If they took the time to update and release Stories 1 and port it everywhere, as well as finally releasing Stories 2 on PS4, it kinda means they want to do a 3rd game. I really do hope they bring back the elemental change, but if they don't at least some costume for the monsties.

and perhaps bring in Frontier Monsters that may be a little much for mainline since stories is more aligned with fantasy. Euzerion for Stories 3?

I wish they would make a open world survival like ark I loved it when someone ported them into ark taming them and having all the moves was amazing

I have MH Stories 2 and plan on getting 1 Remastered once released. Still haven't played 2 yet until i finish Sunbreak.

Hopefully this new one will actually work on my phone.

I'm actually enjoying MonHun Now (especially with all the updates they've been adding this spring) but a mobile MonHun game I can actually play whenever and where ever would make this series the only thing I played on my phone.

Since they just did Pokémon Unite, maybe the Timi collab is a moba where you play as the Monsters 🤔

Id take a Monster Hunter Palworld. It doesnt need the brutality but i love the designs of the creatures and in MH and would love another taming game, but i hate the rock-paper-scissors style of combat in Stories

I appreciate Capcom getting into other gaming spheres for the exposure. However it could leave a sour taste in some fans who just want the traditional games and not so much the mainstream approach Capcom is going for. Where as wilds probably would have released this year had MH Now and other projects not been a thing. Id be interested in a MH LoL style game, I havent played LoL or Dota 2 in years. Theres a lot of possibilites with that. As mentioned you have 14 playstyles that could be divided up amongst roles. The towers would probably be the stationary crossbow turrets. Even the little farming minions could be palicos or some type of small monster

I guess Capcom thinks its not worth it. Monster Hunter Stories is mostly popular in Japan and sells most copys there. Xbox isn't really popular in Japan, so working on a Xbox version probably would cost Capcom more than it would bring them. Thats just my guess.

Dead by Daylight style Monster Hunter, where it's 1 monster vs. 4 hunters. 3 carts and you're out. Hunters have to gather/deliver resources and survive the night by the time the boat returns. You can risk spending resources to build traps for attacking the monster for carves to increase your resources at end of match and use them to craft gear that essentially gives you your slotted perks. Monsters I guess would have standardized perks/attacks based on monster, but maybe a "Rage" meter that let's you use customizable abilities or something. I don't know. I'm not a game designer.

That game doesn't work well in Market, I remember 3 games like that (I forgot the name, but one of them is hold huge title Predator from Alien vs Predator) player count down to under 1000 after few months The game became tedious if the combat is fking long and complicated unlike DBD, Horror is mostly work well for this kind game because u having fun on mic as survivors

Tbh, I do think an asymmetrical MH game could work, but instead it should be made so killing the monster is the main objective.

Timi x Monster Hunter should be a MOBA where you play as monsters to allow for a variety of characters to play. It would also prevent the need to create new weapon types.

I just hope that Monster Hunter in collaboration with Tencent runs on 32bit processor phones.

I use to play MHU on psp way back in the day. My mates played world when it came out but I never gave it a try. I only recently played world when I had 2 months off work and spent most of my time off on it lol. Super keen for wilds and to actually play it with my mates this time

@@DeadlyShadowsX9 But it's not. I don't want to "drive" my dog around the map (vertical at times) looking for bird upgrades before I can fight the monster. That was a terrible idea. The maps were bland looking (thanks Nintendo Switch). MHW maps were way better and felt bigger because you had to walk.

@@ahampel22 they are different teams, shows how much you know... and the portable games were the ones that really started their popularity, especially in Japan. The top mh games in Japan are portable games, Rise and Portable 3rd are more popular in Japan than World. So saying they're wasting time on them is disrespectful to the devs and to MH as a whole

i really really hope they add water combat again so many old or potentially new masters that ether you can't really fight against without water or its just much less enjoyable to fight
