The reality is......this show may have been put together with obvious costumes and toy like background and special effects.....but through the eyes of a child back then.....THIS SHOW WAS THE BOMB!!!! Every kid in America was hooked on this super space hero!!! Lol.....I still have the DVD collection! It’s definitely a classic!!!

I remember watching this show as a kid in the 60's. I can't believe there are versions of it still running on TV.

Seeing this now, decades later, I see how a superhero is built and admired. I love all these Japanese icons, wow!

Man we lived in such simpler time when these were shown in TV it was something else to watch and used to run around the street holding one hand up. Now even Marvel moviesgraphics dont impress me or the kids so sad

I'm 56 years old and there's nothing like the original. But I'm glad he's still around in some form

Yeah, that’s right. The actor of Ultraman (1966) human form is still active in recent movies and TV series. Same as other actors of Ultra brothers✌️😁

All the Ultraman series after the first one (1966) are new to me. I saw it in reruns when I was a kid in the early 70's. Didn't even know they were still making Ultraman until just a few years ago.

Ultraman, Seven, Taro, Ace..damn..my childhood memory remains

me too!!!!! The first ultraman (and the first hero) I met in my childhood was mebius. I love the story that he was weak as a hero at first, and grew up with his companions. He is one of my best hero still now. I'm so happy to see you guy who loves mebius!

Me:Watching the new ultraman in a split of seconds. Also me:Look how my boi have gone astray.

Taro, Ace, Nexus, and Mebius were the most memorable for me

The first is still the best. The simple Beta Capsule just worked. The adjustments/improvements to the costume didn't really improve it. For me, the Beta Capsule equaled Donald Blake's cane that transformed him to Thor.

I remembered how scared I was in one episode wherein some of them were trapped and turned into stone, and Ultraman Father needed to save them..

Idk man. I still think Kamen Rider is way better due to the story while Ultraman is just people like sons of this popular Ultraman, discipline, combine, etc. Kamen Rider still has 50 episodes I believe and some has pretty good story. Personally I wished Nexus was longer but they cut it short :/

@@luizbl Bruh, netflix didn't ruin that. It's based on the manga. And plus, if you actually WATCH the series you'll find that it's actually good and packs a TON of lore.
