@@fawkewe That’s inaccurate. Canadian winners are not “more canon” than the other. How it worked back then was kids from countries the show aired could vote on who they wanted to win. Fresh TV made two endings. It was up to the kids voting on which ending they aired. Just because kids in Italy voted for one winner and Canada voted for another doesn’t mean Italy picked the false winner. That’s not how it works. Canadian kids have their own opinions just like how Italian kids have theirs. Fresh makes both. Kids decide.

Owen being back makes my heart so happy. I was in Middle School when TDI came out. Owen has been a MAJOR part of my life for the last 16 Years. Ive watched TD for so long that my Viewership could Compete on TD now.

At first I thought Owen's reappearance was a joke, but in the end it turned out to be a fact. I would also like other characters from the first generation to reappear for a few moments, but seeing that they are already the last episodes of the last announced season, I doubt very much that they will and that is why it is better not to get your hopes up. The cameos were hilarious, but there's no denying it.

She meant as in Courtney or Duncan never made up after everything they went through especially in Season 5. Duncan who wanted to see if Courtney still had feelings for him since he finds it interesting to see Courtney feel jealous about his relationship with Gwen. Gwen broke up with him and told Courtney about it to which it would've been a small hope for some Duncney fans see if they will be together.

@@allygilman2525 As much as I don't like it. Having them get back together after what happened in tdwt, it just wouldn't feel right. It would be too out of character for Courtney to take him back. It just wouldn't feel natural. I'll always love them and hate that some executive thought it was a good idea to break them up despite the creators loving them together.

That's right. Then they leave angry because in the end what they wanted to see is not fulfilled. It's not like in Revenge of the Island that from almost the beginning there were cameos and there it made a little more sense to expect appearances like that; In the reboot, on the other hand, it's something that's barely happening in the last half of the last announced season. I can't blame them in part, I'd like to see other characters from the first generation too, but it's best not to get your hopes up.

I really hope Beardo makes an appearance in this season as he only appeared in one episode in the series. Also, I am shocked Owen didn’t age and didn’t grow facial hair like a beard. (he probably did, but shaved to look younger in his TD years)

@@dylansharp8471 “There’s photo’s of future episodes” I meant to say. There’s a photo with Damian in a colored paint that’s gold and people think he’ll lose his immunity idol there. Also a photo with Wayne looking at a dog chew Raj’s jersey. People speculate that Raj get eliminated by injury or Raj gives him his Jersey as protection for that situation. The last is a photo of Caleb being stuck within the tattle of a snake. There’s no context but the episode’s names are shown along the photo’s.

It's cute how Priya reacts to Owen and judging her reaction to Duncan and Courtney she's probably a Duncney fan. Is Duncan still in jail? Did Courtney become a lawyer? Gots to know.

Given its been like 10 years Duncan should actually just be getting out of Jail at the start of this season (assuming he was unable to escape). His charge was destruction of property over $5,000 and given how big Chris’ house was he probably got the maximum charge of 10 years for it.

Owen is one of the best parts of the season tbh..

This might be a hint to a future season having past characters return. I’d personally love to see season three be a season with the cast mixed of the four generations (i doubt RR characters would feature)

Terry McGurrin has said the reason they steer away from bringing back the old cast is because new viewers who weren’t around at the time won’t know the backstory about them in past seasons

Its kinda weird that Owen looks the exact same. I mean its been long enough since his first appearance that one of the characters trained her whole life to be on Total Drama. Atleast give him a mustache or something. It would be funny though if everybody else aged up but he just looked the same though.

@@BabyLambCreations Cartoon logic in Total Drama isn't important, because it is based on IRL Reality shows, so I think it's a better idea to have the older generation characters actually age up. Total Drama using Simpsons logic would be lazy writing on the writers' part, because Priya saying "I've studied Owen's moves all my life" wouldn't even make any sense if the characters were still the same age as they were when they first appeared.

I noticed that and I don’t have too much of a problem with it. Because it’s a darker green, it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, though it is weird. My theory behind the eye color change was because he had the same dark green color eyes in Dramarama, and the creators wanted to stay consistent with the change in his older design.

If I am right about the color change, there will be a few more generation one cast members with a changed eye color. For instance, Gwen’s eyes were made dark purple in Dramarama as well, so if she ever appears again, chances are the same color eyes she had in Dramarama will be added onto her design.

The only cameos that appeared in the TDI S2 Reboot were Courtney, Duncan, Izzy and Owen. Coincidentally they were originally on separate teams in the original version of TDI and were in relationships before their breakups in TDWT.

"Can't still figure out how he actually won" honestly that's sad. Yeah Owen is known for his fart jokes, but he was probably the friendliest contestant in season 1 and got along with almost everyone. He didn't really have many long term enemies in season 1 and his love for eating helped him in food challenges. It's not hard to see why he won. He didn't try to stir the pot like he was forced to in TDA and he didn't have enemies like in TDWT when he annoyed Alejandro.

So here's my question, the Gen 1 cast were all 16 years old when they complete. If Priya studied Owen all her life and she's in her teens (I'm assuming), WHY DOES OWEN LOOK HE'S STILL SIXTEEN?!?
