For a battery box with a built-in mppt controller and a 1000 watt inverter, see the Licitti battery box.

Added master battery disconnect. 1000W Inverter sits securely in the center and in between the raised shoulders. It takes just a single strap to secure it in place. Overall, nice unit.

hopefully will receive my AllTop smart battery box Wednesday, I ordered a 200 watt Dokio solar panel with built in charge controller , due to arrive Friday . do you need a pure sine wave inverter for a laptop and how much watt age inverter would I need.

It's possible, but real estate might get very tight... If you ran a 50aH lithium battery then 10000% possible.

sorry I didnt reply, i'm now running a 60AH Amped Outdoors LifePo4 cell, upgraded the solar controller with a victron 75/15!

I purchased the box but am not able to locate the solar panels. Where did you get those from?

Inventory comes and goes, I think there are supply chain hold-ups and won't show up until later into summer :( Keep checking.

Do I need an inverter to use with this to run my 12 volt fridge also is it safe to charge a laptop.

If the battery is 12volts, then no. 12v battery = 12volt fridge! Laptop will require an inverter.. 300w will be sufficient.

I'm going to ask a dumb question. Could you do a male to male 12v plug and charge this while driving from a 240 watt 12v cigarette lighter plug... or would it draw too much without some sort of regulation?

I know this applications would work in pinch but I wouldn’t recommend it. Will the batteries be the same? Plus you need to know the battery charge requirements

@@ItsChoeTime I did a little more research. I think a small 120v inverter on the cigarette plug running a 5 amp charger will work. Noco Genius 5 charger draws 87 watts max according to their info so probably around 100w with loss from the inverter.
