I included Infantry, Cavalry and Flying examples of the times for variation and provided various camera angles. Nova cannot be used by cavalry so I showed Veyle instead. The critical animations for the spells are identical but of course the casting animation is slightly different. However I will showcase all critical animations in another video. Also griss’ exalibur is same as usual whereas Zephia’s thoron is different. Thank you I hope you enjoyed.

That's weird and the weirder part is Flyers can use it when they similar to Calvary units with one thing riding a creature. I guess that 1 thing doesn't matter.

@@Jetbladewarrior Cavalry units can't use Nova because that's an S-Rank Tome, and there aren't any Calvary classes that get S-Rank Tomes. It doesn't actually have anything to do with them being Cavalry. It's just the weapon rank that matters.

you cant followup with thunder- based tome, but with a certain ring (owen ring) you can followup with thunder tome, regardless of the rule. Its passive is called dire thunder, making reference to the follow-up thunder magic. Elsurge is more powerfull at 2nd tier magic, even more powerful than excalibur, but you can only use it at range 1. Nova is the only S tiered tome in this game, weak as any common tier tomes, but allows quadras. Obscuritè is the only "dark magic based" spell we can encounter at this game. Source: Serenes Forest site. Wind tomes arent common in gameplays because they are less powerfull, since path of radiance, having the nice of super effectivness against flier units. In other cases, Fire for doubles, Thunder for single and masive damages (or doubles if you have Owen ring). I miss the god-tier animation of Rex magic from radiant dawn, even for wii platform they had beautiful design, even more sofisticated from path of radiance, to the point of giving impression those magics could destroy entire front lines instead of one person. Honorable mentions to Cymbeline (less powerful than Rexflame, but a literal SUN is summoned), Creiddylad (a less powerfull "judment" still beautiful), Valaura (poisoned rexaura), Balberith(SS- dark) and Verrine (for me its the "corrupted Creiddylad")

My only wish is that we get Radiant Dawn-tier spell animations for the magic holy weapons on the fe 4 remake I always dreamed of what Naga vs Loptous would look like in modern day graphics, as the fe4 animation seems to suggest that the dragons themselves are summoned in magic form

Man I love magic in FE, magic classes are my favorite FE classes after transformation one like beasts and/or manaketes, but I feel like it's becoming more and more limiting. I know they had a weapon triangle for magic but I didn't get to experience it since I started with Awakening and Fates and onwards but even then we had variety and cool tomes and even dark magic like the ruin tome and others. Fates had less but we still had a couple cool ones like the ginnungagap, or even the brynhildr tome which I especially like because the wood/grass/nature element is my favorite element in fiction. I'm glad we're back to purchable tomes again (I was really happy about that) after how limited 3H was magic wise but I feel like the selection is too small, sorry for the long comment but idk if "small magic variety" is an issue for other people or if it's something that only bothers me lol

magic and transformation classes are always cool, unless it's three houses and tellius were for whatever reason mages have terrible mov stat the same as armored units wich is crazy honestly I didn't mind the spell reduction too much with the exception of dark magic wich I definitely feel the absence of(yeah obscurite exists but only 3 characters can use it and it's endgame only), though I find arts to be a funny weapon type because now healers can punch and kick enemies in the face
